He has been a teacher of Chenzhou Commercial School, editor of Hunan Children's Publishing House, deputy director of periodical editing room, editor-in-chief of Juvenile Composition Counseling magazine, and professor of College of Literature of Hunan Normal University.

Tang Sulan has written and published more than 40 children's literature works, and won the National Excellent Children's Literature Award, Soong Ching Ling Children's Literature Award, Bing Xin Children's Literature Award and Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award. His representative works include The Story of the Stupid Wolf, The Little Witch is Beautiful, The Elf in the Attic, etc.

In the preface to the second edition of this book, Tang Sulan said that when The Story of the Stupid Wolf was first published in Chinese mainland, his son was in the first grade of primary school, and now her son has become a young man.

From the earliest stories about stupid wolves, Tang Sulan has been writing a series of stories about stupid wolves slowly. During this period, works related to the stupid wolf have been published, 20 14, and she has also published three new books about the stupid wolf.

Since 1996, the story of the stupid wolf has been serialized in primary schools, with a * * *, serializing 33 stories. After that, Tang Sulan continued to write stories about the stupid wolf, and successively published books such as Mom and Dad of the Stupid Wolf, School Life of the Stupid Wolf, Stupid Wolf and Smart Rabbit.

The Story of the Stupid Wolf was published in Chinese mainland on 1998. After that, The Story of the Stupid Wolf won numerous awards, including 1999 Zhang Tianyi Fairy Tale Fable Award, the 5th Soong Ching Ling Children's Literature Award in 2000, and the 5th Excellent Children's Literature Award held by Chinese Writers Association in 2002.

The main readers of the book "The Story of the Stupid Wolf" seem to be young children and readers in the lower grades of primary school, because the simple character of the stupid wolf seems to be a portrayal of these children. In this book, the "stupid wolf" is not funny because of his stupidity, but in his character, that simplicity and cuteness attract children to like this "stupid wolf".

However, adults are also easily attracted by this book. Don't miss it just because it is a children's book. There is a lot of content in it, and adults can also see their own shadow from it.

The characteristics of this book are-the characters are simple and lovely, the plot description is soothing, and the language is exquisite.

First of all, the appearance of the role of the stupid wolf has a dramatic scene. The name "stupid wolf" was given to him by his parents, not because of his own stupidity.

We can see from the book that the mother of the stupid wolf is very romantic and likes to travel, and the father of the stupid wolf cares about the mother of the stupid wolf. Such a family seems to be the root of the simple romantic character of the stupid wolf. Although at the beginning of the book, the stupid wolf's mother "ran away from home", later, the stupid wolf's father also "chased his mother". The stupid wolf wants to live in poverty without his parents, but the stupid wolf is very independent and doesn't feel anxious living alone.

Every story after that is about the loveliness of the stupid wolf. Some people may think that the stupid wolf is really stupid, but I think this is an adult's perspective. Tang Sulan wrote this story from the perspective of a child, so the stupidity of the stupid wolf in the book makes people feel particularly cute.

Secondly, in the plot, each story of the stupid wolf is independent. This feature may be related to serialization. When serializing, we should not only consider the coherence of stories, but also consider the independence of each story. Because not every reader can read the previous story, an independent chapter is not only suitable for children, but also suitable for parents to read to their children.

Although the story is a separate article, the protagonists in the book are not unrelated. Clever rabbits, frog doctors and sharp-billed foxes appear repeatedly in different chapters of the book. In this way, the story of the stupid wolf has the relevance of a long story, which can deepen the impression of young readers on the characters in the book.

Finally, in terms of language, the story of the stupid wolf is not simple but funny. The language dialogue in the book is simple and close to the characteristics of children's language. When the scene is described, it has the characteristics of beautiful language. Some sentences can be a small poem when taken out alone.

For example, when describing the scene of rain, Tang Sulan wrote: "Raindrops fall on leaves,' rustling sand'". Raindrops hit the cabin, and the cabin tinkled as if singing. "Such language features are particularly in line with the language requirements of children's literature, because the language of children's literature should have both the characteristics of children's speech and the beauty of language.

In this respect, the story of the stupid wolf is not only a story, but also a lot of beautiful languages are used in the story, which constitute the unique artistic characteristics of the language in this book.

The independence of each story in the book is the feature of this book, but personally, it is this feature that also constitutes the deficiency of this book, that is, the incoherence of chapters. As mentioned above, this book consists of thirty-three stories. It is no problem to read the stories separately, but if you compile a book, you can read it completely. Some stories have the characteristics of children's stories, such as the first few stories, and some stories seem to be written for older children, such as the middle one. Of course, these are just personal feelings, which does not mean that the story in this book is not wonderful enough.

Tang Sulan has been writing Stupid Wolf for 20 years. During this period, all the children who watched "Stupid Wolf" are adults now, but the story of "Stupid Wolf" continues, and I have to admire Tang Sulan's diligence and enthusiasm in writing.

On the other hand, this also shows how much "Stupid Wolf" is loved by young readers, not only readers twenty years ago, but also children twenty years later.

Good literary works are always washed away by time, Mika. This is the story of a stupid wolf.
