Li Bai (AD 70 1-762), a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote more than 1000 poems in his life. His poetry is magnificent, bold and unrestrained, which pushes China's ancient poetry creation to a climax and has a great influence on later generations and the world, and is honored as a "poetic immortal" by later generations.
When Li Bai was 5 years old, he followed his father from the Western Regions to settle in Sichuan Qinglian. By the age of 10, he was proficient in piano, chess, calligraphy and painting.
One spring, a guest came to visit Li Bai's father at the foot of Minshan Mountain. It happened that he went out and didn't come back. The guest showed disappointment on his face and turned to leave. When Li Bai saw it, he quickly grabbed the guest and said, "Uncle, you came all the way to find my father. If you are tired for a long time without rest, you will come back. This will hurt your body and mind. "
Seeing that Li Bai was polite, enthusiastic and eloquent, the guests secretly admired him and sat down one after another.
Li Bai began to get busy. He showed great respect to the guests by serving tea and handing towels. In order to make the guests not lonely, Li Bai put down the book he was reading and went to the living room to talk to the guests. He said generously, "May I have your name, so that I can tell my father?"
The guest wanted to try Li Bai's talent, so he coughed, twisted his beard with his fingers and said loudly, "My surname is' someone stole', and my name is' a bird can't see its feet when it falls on the mountain'."
Li Bai thought carefully for a while, then handed it over and replied, "I know, I know." I'll tell dad when he comes back. "
The guest asked doubtfully, "Can you explain it to me?"
Li Bai immediately replied: "Someone stole" means removing the word "stealing" from singles, so it is the word "Yu"; The word "island" means "the bird landed on the top of the mountain but couldn't see its feet". Your surname is Yu, and your name is Island! "
The guest was very moved and patted his head again and again and said, "This child is really a wizard. Congratulations! "

When Li Bai was less than 10 years old, his fame spread all over his hometown. 14 years old, Li Bai came to Nanpu (now Wanzhou City, Sichuan Province). There is a local squire named Hu who thinks he is very knowledgeable and looks down on others. He wants to test Li Bai. One day, in front of Li Bai, he wrote a pair of couplets: "Liangshan plants big bamboos without splashing water." This part contains three local place names, so it is difficult to make the correct part. Who knows that Li Bai casually replied: "Nanpu people live long, why are they afraid of Fengdu?" There are three place names before and after this second couplet, and the antithesis is very neat.
Not convinced, Taigong Hu pointed to a picture on the wall for everyone to see. There is an old fairy in the picture, sleeping on the edge of a cliff with a big jar, and wine comes out of the jar. Teacher Hu wrote another couplet on the subject of painting: "You (yǒu) are drunk, your eyes are drooping, but you are sleeping. The old fairy snuggled up to the jar. I wonder if he is drunk or asleep? "
Li Bai answered unhurriedly: "The moon is half fat, and it is long and swollen. Mr. Hu stood in the middle of the hall with a big belly. I wonder if it is fat or swollen? "
Grandfather Hu Ben wanted to laugh at Li Bai, but Li Bai made a tit-for-tat laugh. Everyone burst out laughing when they saw that Hu Taigong was as fat as a pig. Mr. Hu blushed and wanted to find another chance to save face. After the banquet, he led the people to take a walk in the garden. He saw several goslings floating on the surface of the lotus pond, swimming around. He said to Li Bai cleverly, "I don't know how small this goose is!" "
Li Bai certainly understood Mr. Hu's intention in his heart. He looked back at the pond and happened to see a turtle sticking its head out. He replied, "The tortoise shell has been polished, and it can be regarded as an old fox!" "

Li Bai (A.D. 70 1-762), the word Taibai, was the most outstanding poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and also an outstanding romantic poet in China after Qu Yuan, who was known as the "Poet Fairy". Li Bai's poems are mainly lyrical. He absorbed rich nutrition from folk literature and Yuefu folk songs at that time and formed his own unique style. Li Bai has extraordinary artistic genius and majestic artistic power, and all amazing, exciting and thought-provoking phenomena are in the pen. Du Fu, the poet sage, commented that "the pen is shaken by wind and rain, and the poem makes the gods cry". There are more than 900 poems by Li Bai in Li Taibai's poetry collection.
At the age of five, Li Bai recited Liu Jia, and at the age of ten, he watched hundreds of schools. According to legend, Li Bai had a strange dream when he was a teenager. One night, Li Bai fell asleep after reading his composition. In the dream, he was still writing. Suddenly, he found a Bai Lianhua on his pen, which was dazzling. Just when he was surprised, a piece of white paper fell from the sky and landed in front of his eyes. Li Bai was so happy that he guessed that the fairy must have given him a magic pen. Thinking of this, Li Bai grabbed the wonderful pen and wrote it quickly. What he didn't want to leave on the paper was the blooming lotus. So Li Bai picked up a bunch of lotus flowers and ran to the pond outside the house. He stood by the pool and sprinkled water on them with his hand. In an instant, a miracle appeared: after the lotus entered the water, it immediately gave birth to stems and leaves, competing to bloom. The breeze blows, the flowers sway gently, and the fragrance permeates people's hearts. Li Bai was very happy. He just wanted to reach out and touch it, but suddenly he woke up. Li Bai recalled the vivid plot in his dream and said with emotion: What a wonderful dream it is!
Strange to say, after that, Li Bai's talent really became sharper and he studied harder. He went deep into social life, traveled to the famous mountains and rivers of the motherland, created a large number of immortal poems, and finally became a talented and world-renowned poet. Up to now, many of his famous poems are still sung by Chinese and foreign readers. Later, people regarded the dream pen as a good omen of literary talent, and the idiom "dream pen gives birth to flowers" is used to describe a person who is brilliant and rich in literary thoughts.
