Song Wenzhi's most famous poem.

The most famous poem of Song Dynasty was engraved on the wall of an inn in the north of Dayu Mountain.

Original text:

In the lunar month, geese began to fly south. It is said that they flew to Dayuling, and they all turned back.

Birds don't enter, but I don't travel far to Lingnan. I don't know when, when can I return home?

The tide receded, the river rippled quietly, the forest was dark and malaria was scattered.

Tomorrow I will climb to the top of the mountain and look north at my hometown, or I can see the red berries on the top of the mountain.

Translation:

In October, the geese flying south are said to have flown to Dayuling and returned. However, this time south, there is no end. I don't know when I can set foot on the return trip. At the beginning of the tide, the river was calm and the fog in the forest was very dark. Presumably, when I visit my hometown tomorrow, I will see plum blossoms on the ridge.

Appreciation of the Inscriptions on the Wall of North First Inn in Dayu Mountain

At the beginning of this poem, geese are written and their journey is briefly described. It seems to be an understatement, but it is in obvious contrast with the author. The geese will return to the Central Plains after flying to Yuling, but the poet himself has not returned. Here, the author skillfully points out his inner melancholy through the goose, which makes the melancholy atmosphere take shape instantly. Necklace is a pure description of scenery, and the poet's heart is filled with mist like that forest, and he can't see the sun.

Although Song's poems focus on sadness, they avoid sadness first and then, and there is sadness between the lines. Vivid, natural and full of charm, it has to be amazing. It is indeed a rare classic.
