Wuyue's Poetry in Pre-Qin Period

The pre-Qin period was the period when China culture came into being and began, and it was the first stage of China ancient literature. The cultural spirit established at this time has a far-reaching impact on future generations. As a part of pre-Qin culture, pre-Qin literature shows the strong vitality of China literature with its unique charm. Ancient ballads and myths and legends are recorded in ancient books. It is said to be the "wax word" cloud that appeared in the Shennong era:

Earth, rebel against its home! Water belongs to its valley! Insect, don't do it Vegetation, return to its ze!

This is a farming sacrifice song. There is also a "song playing" in Volume 9 of Wu Yue Chun Qiu:

Broken bamboo, continued bamboo, flying soil, chasing far away.

This poem reflects the process of primitive people making slingshots and hunting. The language is simple but rhythmic. Obviously, this is a very old ballad. The Song of Later Generations contained in the first chapter of Lu's Spring and Autumn Annals is also a more credible work of Xia poetry. The emergence of early writing and written literature

After the writing came into being, China literature broke away from the legendary period. The inscriptions on Oracle Bone Inscriptions and some bronzes are the oldest known characters. The appearance of Oracle Bone Inscriptions and Jin Wen provided conditions for the development of oral literature to written literature, and marked the germination of written literature in China.

Thirdly, poetry, music and dance are closely combined.

Poetry is one of the oldest literary forms. China's original poems were combined with music and dance, Lu Chunqiu's ancient music;

In the past, when Ge was happy, the three of them sang eight songs: 1. Carrying people; 2. Birds; 3. Planting trees; 4. Fighting for food; 5. Respecting heaven; 6. Achieving great things; 7. Relying on heaven; 8. Extremely everything.
