The park is a relic park built on the former site of a textile factory founded by the Rong family, a national entrepreneur. When I first entered, I looked around blankly. There are no pavilions, no exotic flowers and trees, just a few buildings in the style of the Republic of China. It seems that there is nothing to see, but when I followed the commentator all the way down, my feelings changed in countless ways. I almost cried several times and was deeply moved and shocked by the story here. The kind that touches my soul.
1937 after the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the coastal factories moved inward, 64 enterprises moved out of Wuhan, and 15 settled in Baoji, laying the foundation of Bao Qin industrial base, among which Shen Xin cotton mill was the largest enterprise. At that time, Japanese planes bombed textile mills many times, and workers risked their lives to rebuild on the ruins, and often they could resume production in 1-2 days. Li Guowei, general manager of Shen Xin factory, said in the mobilization: "If the Japanese bombed the factory once, we would take it back once; if they bombed the factory ten times, we would take it back ten times". This is the aspiration of the people in the rear area of the Anti-Japanese War: "We should defend our country and not be afraid of death"!
1940, Shen Xin began to build a cave factory to avoid continuous bombing damage by enemy planes. At that time, rewi alley, an important leader of the Republican organization, made positive suggestions, which strengthened Li Guowei's confidence and determination. After the cave was built, the anti-Japanese war materials kept flowing, and no one died in the bombing of factory workers by enemy planes.
There are four historical sites in the park, such as Cave Factory, Shen Xin Cotton Mill Office Building, Lenong Villa and Thin Shell Workshop, which were built in 1938- 195 1 year, respectively, which are the most complete existing industrial heritages during the Anti-Japanese War in China.
There are ***24 caves in this cave, and the well-preserved cave is 19. I felt very solid when I entered it. The cave walls are all made of bricks, and red bricks and blue bricks are used alternately. It is said that it was built in a hurry, so we used whatever bricks we brought, and we didn't care about color matching at all. The ground is paved with thin strips of wood, which is strong and exquisite. The narrowest point is 2 meters and the widest point is 6 meters. Caves crisscross. The longest cave is 1 10 meter, with a total length of 3.5 Li. There are three vents leading to the top of the plateau, which are also escape routes. The following is the layout and appearance of the cave.
There is a guard building in the yard outside, which is mainly used to observe enemy planes. Once found, the alarm will sound immediately and people will quickly hide in caves. You can imagine the danger of work and the difficulty of survival at that time. It is said that Japanese pilots at that time lamented that there was nothing they could do about the Shen Xin factory in the cave.
The top of the thin shell workshop is shell-shaped, with a very special architectural style and looks beautiful (see the picture above). It is built on the principle that eggshells are not easily broken. Because it is special and rare, it has been preserved so far for visiting.
After visiting this place, I have a sense of pride. In this yellow land of our hometown, there was such a little-known story of the Anti-Japanese War, which was staged in this dark cave. This important force supporting the backbone of the famous nation is another form of tunnel warfare, which deserves our future generations to remember forever.
