Isa 5:2 He has a garden around him, and he has picked up stones, planted beautiful vines, built a building in the garden, and built a winepress. He expected to produce good grapes, but in the end he produced wild grapes.
Is 5:3 Now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge between me and my vineyard.
Can I do something for my vineyard that I haven't done? I expect to produce good grapes, but how can I produce wild grapes?
Isa 5:5 Now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will remove the fence and it will be swallowed up. He also tore down the wall and trampled it under his feet.
I'll make it a waste. No longer repaired, no longer hoed; Thorns and briers will grow. I will also command the clouds not to rain on them.
Isa 5:7 The vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, and his favorite tree is Judah. He expected fairness, but there was tyranny; I want justice, but there is an unfair voice.
Isaiah 5: 1~7. This is a poem.
Song of the Vineyard is a poem sung by God for his lover, which shows God's inner sadness and disappointment with the house of Israel.
God is the owner of the vineyard, Israel is God's vineyard, and Judah is God's favorite tree. However, they did not bear good fruit, which led to God's judgment. God will tear down the fence, and Babylon will tear down the temple. They were exiled for 70 years.
God looked after the congregation of Israel as he looked after a vineyard. God planted a good vine; God gave Israel laws and ordinances. The temple in Jerusalem is like a building in a vineyard, where there is a sign of God's presence. God also set up an altar there, where he could sacrifice; It fully foretells the salvation and grace of God. However, expecting good grapes turned out to be wild grapes.
In our hearts, only goodwill and motivation are not enough; Must bear good fruit in the vineyard; There must be thoughts, feelings, words and actions in harmony with the Holy Spirit.
Wild grapes show that it is a bad fruit that destroys the body.
When fallacies and crimes are not restricted, it is like a vineyard where hoes are no longer repaired; At this time, the garden will soon be covered with thorns and thistles. If a man fights God for a long time and persists in sin before God, the spirit of God will leave him; When people in a place stubbornly despise and despise the gospel of God, the gospel will leave there; At that time, they will be like a wasteland.
If there is humility, gentleness, love, patience and contempt for the world in a person's soul, it is a good grape fruit, which is pleasing to God;
But if a person's soul is full of pride, anxiety, discontent, resentment, malice and contempt for God, it is wild grape fruit.
Good fruit is godly prayer and praise to God. Wild grapes are full of curses and vows.
We should take this history as a warning, and rely on the Holy Spirit to bear the fruit of repentance and patience, commensurate with repentance, to glorify God and benefit people in the world, to bear abundant fruits, to live the color of life and to please God. We are the love of God and his wife. May our hearts be closed to the world, open to the Lord and full of rich fruits. May we be the songs in God's heart.
