This poem was written by Li Bai when he exiled Yelang in the first year of Gan Yuan (758) and visited the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuchang, expressing the sadness of the poet's relegation and the injury of national subjugation.
Originally, the guests were moved to Changsha 1, and there was no home in Chang 'an in the west. There was a flute sound of "Plum Blossom" from the Yellow Crane Tower, and another drop of plum blossom was seen on the river bank in May.
Note 1 "Yiwei" sentence: It refers to Jia Yi being demoted to Changsha as a teacher in the Western Han Dynasty.
Jia Yi was demoted to Changsha, and now I am demoted to Yelang, and I can't see Chang 'an's home in the west. At this time of Jiangcheng, although it is still hot in May, it is sad to hear the sound of Yu Di playing in the Yellow Crane Tower, just like seeing plum blossoms falling in succession.
