Autumn of English Poetry

Autumn Fire-Robert Lewis Stevenson [UK]

Floating into people's gardens,

Floating in the valley,

Look, a wisp of smoke,

From the bonfire in autumn!

The happy summer has passed,

The summer flowers have withered,

The red bonfire is burning,

Smoke rose.

Sing a song of the four seasons!

Sing the glory of the four seasons!

There are blooming flowers in summer,

There are bonfires rising in autumn!
