So, I asked the children to understand the text by themselves while comparing the notes in the vocabulary manual, so that they could have a general grasp of the whole poem. Next, I explained the words "Green Hosta" and "Ao Shuang Branch" and found some pictures to make them understand why the lotus leaf is called "Green Hosta" and what kind of branch is called "Ao Shuang Branch". By observing the pictures, the children have a basic understanding of the meanings of these two words.
Disadvantages: Although children have mastered part of it, due to the lack of teaching, students have not mastered the whole poem well and have not understood what the poet wants to express. How to teach ancient poetry, I think this is a difficult problem in front of me. I hope I can improve myself in this respect through continuous learning!
