My trip to the desert is 800 words.

There are some famous deserts in China, such as Badain Jaran Desert, Wulanbuhe Desert and Kubuqi Desert, which are in the west of Inner Mongolia. This summer, our trip to Inner Mongolia came to Kubuqi Desert.

After driving for five hours from the prairie, the scenery outside the window slowly began to become barren and the terrain suddenly became low. A golden desert appeared in front of our eyes, and the people in the car gave an endless exclamation and couldn't wait to rush under the car. After getting off the bus, we took a cable car from the visitor center into the depths of the desert. The scenery we only saw in books before is now truly presented to us.

When I set foot on this golden ocean, I found it very hot here. The scorching sun scorched the earth, and even the sand under my feet was boiling hot. My brother and I didn't care about this, and we played with sand excitedly. We are surprised to find that the sand here is soft, thin and continuous, as delicate as flour, which is completely different from the sand we usually play in the bunker. Pick up the sand with your hands, and it will flow down from your fingers like water and then drift away with the wind.

Walking in the desert, we found that every step on it was like stepping on a soft quilt, and every step consumed more energy than usual. When we climb the mountain, every step we take, the sand under our feet will slide down and gather in a pile, which is almost two steps and one step back. Climbing is very difficult. When we climb up step by step in the hot sun, we deeply feel the power of nature and the smallness of human beings. When we climb to the top of the dune and look into the distance, the continuous dune is like a mountain range. No matter which direction we look, the scenery is the same, and there are continuous sand dunes everywhere. I was thinking at that time: it would be terrible if I accidentally got lost in the desert and there was no one around.

The most interesting thing in the desert is riding a desert boat-camel. Of course we won't miss it this time. When I arrived at the Camel Garden, I saw a dozen bactrian camels squatting in a wooden fence, five in a team, connected by ropes. The owner of the camel park leads the way with the first camel. We sat on the camels behind us in turn, and everyone marched in the desert. Camels stand very high. We sat on it and found that the camel walked smoothly. Their feet stepped on the beach. They didn't slip like us, but walked step by step. Accompanied by jingling camel bells and looking at the shadows of ourselves and camels in the desert, we rode comfortably in the desert for a long time

In the evening, the sun sets on the top of the sand dunes far away from the clouds, covering the endless yellow sand with a layer of gold. At that moment, I thought the desert was so beautiful! A famous sentence written by Wang Wei, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, jumped out of my mind. "The desert is lonely and straight, and the long river sets the yen." The fantastic and magnificent desert scenery is fascinating! What an unforgettable trip to the desert!
