Wen Yiduo is a famous poet, scholar and democracy fighter in China in the 2th century. In his early years, he was enthusiastic about the innovation and theoretical research of new poetry, actively advocated new metrical poetry, and started a generation of poetic style with two collections of poems, Red Candle and Dead Water. His famous patriotic poem "Song of the Seven Sons" sang the land of China when Macao returned to the motherland at the end of the 2th century.
Author's brief introduction
Wen Yiduo (1899-1946), formerly known as Wen Jiahua, also known as Youshan, was born in Xishui, Hubei Province. Graduated from Tsinghua University, studied in the United States and studied art and literature. He is the author of poems "Red Candle" and "Dead Water". After 193s, he devoted himself to academic research and made great achievements in the study of Zhouyi, Shijing, Zhuangzi and Chuci. In 1946, he was assassinated by Kuomintang reactionaries for mourning patriotic Democrat Li Gongpu.
Introduction
I was admitted to Tsinghua University in p>1912, and I like reading China's ancient poems, poems, history books and notes. In 1916, he began to publish a series of reading notes in Tsinghua Weekly, collectively known as "Romance in February". At the same time, write old-style poems. During the May 4th Movement in 1919, he took an active part in the student movement and once represented the school at the meeting of the National Federation of Students.
In April, 192, the first vernacular article "Tourist Students" was published. In September of the same year, the first new poem "West Bank" was published.
In November, 1921, Tsinghua Literature Society was founded with Liang Shiqiu and others. In March of the following year, it was written as A Study of the Rhymed Poetry, and began to systematically study the theory of metrical new poetry.
In July, 1922, he went to Chicago Academy of Fine Arts to study. At the end of the year, the Review of Grass on a Winter Night, co-authored with Liang Qiushi, represented Wen Yiduo's early views on new poetry.
In p>1923, the first poetry anthology "Red Candle" was published, which combined the theme of anti-imperialism and patriotism with the form of aestheticism.
