This poem describes the scene of enjoying the fish playing with lotus leaves when picking them. Yuefu said: "Jiangnan" is an old saying, and the last four sentences are repeated, showing the lightness of fish shuttling between lotus leaves and conveying the cheerful mood of lotus pickers. There is another reason why the word "lotus" is used in ancient poetry. For example, the "Xizhou Song" written by Yuefu in the Southern Dynasties said: "Autumn picks the lotus in the south, over the head. As soon as the lotus seeds fall, they are as clear as water. " Zhou Dunyi's Love Lotus in the Song Dynasty said: "Love lotus is far away from mud, clear but not evil, straight through the outside, not crawling, fragrant and clear, graceful and pure, but far away."
