About the author:
Shen Qi, born in 1951 in Mian County, Shaanxi Province, graduated from junior high school in 1966, then went to the countryside to farm, work in factories, and teach in middle schools. He was admitted to university in 1978 , has stayed at the school since graduation. He started writing modern poems and literary activities in 1974. After 1986, he devoted himself to modern poetics and literary criticism. He has published 6 kinds of poems and poetics works and edited 6 kinds. He is a member of the Chinese Writers Association, Xi'an Professor of the Department of Literature and Art, School of Finance and Economics.
