Kezhongping memorial hall
Ke Memorial Hall is located on the west bank of Lianhu Lake in Guangnan County, Yunnan Province, adjacent to Huanhu West Road. Founded in April 1994, it was donated by people of all ethnic groups in Guangnan to commemorate Ke, a famous poet who struggled for the revolution and sang all his life. The memorial hall is a traditional quadrangle building in China. Covering an area of 2,000 square meters and a building area of 770 square meters, it is divided into a main pavilion, two attached pavilions and a stele gallery. The terrain of the compound is stepped, rising from the road around the lake and divided into three platforms. The first one is the gate and two affiliated exhibition halls on the left and right sides of the gate. The gate is covered with ancient glazed tiles and vermilion iron gates, and the walls on both sides of the gate are pastel landscape paintings created and drawn by the painter Mr. Lu Xijiu. On the navy blue floor directly above the facade is the cursive script of Beiyuan written by calligrapher Lu Zhu. Inside the gate is a terrace patio with attached exhibition halls at the left and right ends, which belongs to the vermilion wall covered with glazed tiles. The second platform is the green area of the compound, with two flower ponds, two cherry blossom gardens and two flower beds, one of which is surrounded by a century-old osmanthus tree, which adds historical accumulation and cultural atmosphere to the memorial hall. The stele gallery is located at the outer edge of the right garden. The main pavilion is located on the top platform, which is the most conspicuous position in the whole courtyard. It covers an area of 250 square meters and has a building area of 500 square meters. The main hall is divided into upper and lower floors, and the bottom floor is the exhibition hall of the memorial hall. Outside the door, there are couplets inscribed by Mrs. Ke, such as "Rushing out of Lotus City and Flowing Around the Four Seas, Blowing All over Jiuzhou" (Lu Zhushu), "Playing Heroic History with Deep Feelings, Holding Revolutionary Flowers in the Poetry Garden with Banners" (Peng Huimin Shu), and "Pen Wind Awakens Grass, Ink Rain Moistens Flowers and Smiles" (Li Huafu Shu). The handover of the front ground floor and the floor is handled with six golden characters of "Ke Memorial Hall" inscribed by Mr. Lu Zhu. The floor is divided into three parts, the middle of which belongs to the exhibition hall, covered with glazed tiles, and two exhibition halls, "Lotus" and "Yu Xiu", are respectively built on the platforms at the left and right ends. The main building of the memorial hall is magnificent.
