Speak to the Israelites and say to them, "When you come to the land I am giving you to live in.".
Numbers 15: 3 If you are willing to offer cattle and sheep to the Lord as an offering by fire, whether it is a burnt offering or a peace offering, in order to repay a privileged vow, or a freewill offering, or at the appointed festival, you shall offer them to the Lord as a sweet smell. 」
When God commanded these words, many years had passed since the Ten Explorers incident. The unbelieving old generation gradually "fell in this wilderness" (14: 29), and the new generation was gradually created by God, ready to enter Canaan and bear the promise. "It has been thirty-eight years since I left Cadesbania and crossed the Sally River" (Shen2 14), and the events in chapters 15 to 20 all happened in this "thirty-eight years".
In the past, God declared to the older generation, "They will never see the land I swore to their ancestors. Anyone who despises me shall not see it "(14: 23); Now, God's opening words to the new generation are: "You have come to the land I gave you to live in" (v. 2). Thus, what this chapter commands is the regulations that the new generation will abide by after entering the land of Canaan.
In the past, God declared to the older generation, "Your children will wander in the wilderness for forty years" (14: 33); Now, God has reiterated to the new generation: "I have given you a place to live" (v. 2). Although people's follow-up and obedience are unreliable, God's promise will never change, and he will be responsible for what he wants to do.
Numbers: He who offers an offering shall give a tenth of an ephah of fine flour and a fourth of an hin of oil as a grain offering to the Lord. 」
Numbers 15: 5 "whether it is a burnt offering or a peace offering, each lamb should prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering." 」
Prepare for the ram two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour and a third of a hin of oil, mixed for a grain offering.
Numbers shall also offer a drink offering of a third hin of wine for a sweet smell to the Lord. 」
Numbers 15: 8 "You shall prepare a bull as a burnt offering or a peace offering, in order to repay a privileged vow or offer a peace offering to the Lord."
Numbers 15: 9 "You should mix three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour and half a hin of oil as a grain offering, and offer it with the bull."
Numbers 15: 10 also offered a half-sweet wine as a drink offering, which was an offering made by fire to the Lord for a sweet smell. 」
God's first command to the new generation is that after entering the land of Canaan (v.2), all burnt offerings and peace offerings (v.3) should be offered with grain offerings (v.4) and drink offerings (v.5) as "incense offerings" acceptable to God (v.3).
"vegetarian sacrifice" shows that what Christ did was to provide for our lives (Leo. 2: 1- 16), so that people can live a life pleasing to God. "Since we are called, we should act in accordance with the called grace" (Christopher. 4: 1). Oil symbolizes "joy" (Isaiah 61-3; Poetry 45 7; Dear. 27: 9) It shows that the life of Christ is full of peace and joy. The new generation entering the promised land can only enjoy grace and rest in the promised land for a long time if they live a life of "vegetarian sacrifice"
"Wine grace/? It can refer to all fermented grape juice (Gen. 9: 2 1) or unfermented grape juice (Sai). Sixteen:10; Jeremiah 48: 33; Ai 2 12), representing joy (biography 9 7), also translated as "sake" (6 3; Leo. 9). The "drink offering" may be to pour wine on the sacrifice or around the altar.
God gave detailed instructions on the amount of fine flour, oil and wine used in the grain offering and the drink offering. Only Canaan, which is rich in wheat, olives and grapes, can provide such a large amount of fine flour, oil and wine. Therefore, these demands are actually God's promises to the new generation, and God will definitely lead them into a land flowing with milk and honey (13: 27), instead of staying in the wilderness; God will give them plenty of wheat, olives and grapes before asking them to offer fine flour, oil and wine. Similarly, the wilderness that God leads us through today is only a process, and the goal is in Christ; God must first provide us with the abundant life of Christ, and then ask us to live a gentle, humble, peaceful and joyful life.

Numbers 15: 12 "You should do this according to the number you have prepared." 」
Numbers 15: 13 All local people who offer a fragrant fire offering to the Lord should do this. 」
Numbers 15: 14 "If a stranger lives with you, or if someone lives among you from generation to generation and is willing to offer an offering made by fire with a sweet smell to the Lord, as you did, he will do the same. 」
Numbers 15: 15 as for the congregation, there is only one statute for you and the stranger who lives with you, which will be your eternal statute from generation to generation. As you have done before the Lord, so will the alien. 」
Minutes. 15: 16 "You and the foreigners living with you should have the same laws and regulations. 』」
After entering the land of Canaan, both Israelis and foreigners offered "fragrant fire sacrifices", "this is what it should be" (section 13). It shows that only by living the promised spiritual reality in the promised land with the life provided by God can burnt offerings and peace offerings be accepted by God.
"Faith is the expected truth and the unseen evidence" (Hebrews 1 1: 1). Although a new generation of people are still wandering in the wilderness, God has repeatedly stressed to them that after entering Canaan, "all generations" (sections 14, 15, 2 1, 23 and 38) must abide by these regulations, indicating that these things are bound to be achieved. By faith, people can follow God into promises, and by obedience, they can live in God's grace from generation to generation.
Numbers the Lord said to Moses.
Numbers 15: 18 tell the Israelites that you have come to the land where I will take you in.
Numbers 15: 19 "If you eat the grain of the land, you must offer an offering to the Lord. 」
Numbers 15: 20 "use the first ripe wheat to grind flour and make cakes as offerings;" You lift it like a cereal floor offering. 」
Numbers 15: 2 1 "You shall grind flour with the firstfruits of wheat from generation to generation and present it to the Lord as an offering. 」
God's second command to the new generation is that after entering the land of Canaan (section 18), the "first-ripe wheat" must be "sacrificed to the Lord" and then given to the priests by God (see Lev's note. 7: 34).
Material affluence is God's blessing and grace, but people tend to regard affluence as the result of their own efforts, and also tend to value God who is too blessed. Therefore, God's people must constantly remind themselves through sacrifices that all human efforts would be in vain without God's mercy. Without God's blessing, the temporary happiness of mankind will be meaningless. Therefore, only by following the God of grace can we live in the promise and grace from generation to generation: "First, the first fruits and all the offerings should be given to the priests. You shall also grind flour from the firstfruits of wheat for the priest. In this way, the blessing will come to your home "(Ezekiel 44: 30).
This "offering sacrifice" is not a tithe, because the eldest son (for example. 22: 29), firstborn cattle and sheep (for example. 22: 30) and the first fruits on the ground (for example. 23: 19) The Israelites belong to God and must be sacrificed, otherwise they must be redeemed with money.
The Israelites "made bread from the ground flour of the first ripe wheat" (v. 20), which means to give all the fruits to God. Bread dedicated to God means that the rest of the harvest should also be dedicated to God. Therefore, Paul said, "If the new dough offered is holy, the whole regiment will be holy" (Romans. 1 1: 16).
Numbers 15: 22 "you have sinned, and you have not kept all these commands that the Lord commanded Moses."
Numbers 15: 23 "all that the Lord commanded you through Moses until that day and throughout your generations."
Numbers 15: 24 "If you do evil, the whole congregation will not know. After that, all the congregation shall offer a young bull as a burnt offering, a grain offering and a drink offering for a sweet smell to the LORD, and a goat as a sin offering. 」
Numbers 15: 25 "The priests will make atonement for all the congregation of Israel, and they will be forgiven, because it is wrong. Because of their own fault, they presented their offerings to the Lord, that is, the offerings made by fire and the sin offerings. 」
Numbers all the congregation of Israel and the stranger who sojourns among them will be forgiven, because this is a sin committed by the people by mistake. 」
God's third command to the new generation is that after entering the land of Canaan (section 18), the "sin sacrifices" offered by all the congregation are different from those offered by the old generation.
For the older generation, if all people have sinned, they should "offer a young bull as a sin offering" (Leviticus. 4: 14); If the official made a mistake, he offered a "goat" as a sin offering (Leviticus. 4: 23). However, for the new generation, if all people have sinned, they should first offer "a young bull as a burnt offering", together with a grain offering and a drink offering, and then "offer a male goat as a sin offering" (v. 24). Only when the new generation seeks God's acceptance more than forgiveness can they live in promise and grace for a long time.
Originally, the sin offering offered by all the congregation only made all the congregation of Israel forgiven (Leviticus. 4: 20), but in the promised land, the sin offering made all the congregation of Israel and the Gentiles living among them "forgiven", indicating that the grace of God's forgiveness has expanded.
Numbers 15: 27 "If a person commits a crime by mistake, he must offer a one-year-old female goat as a sin offering. 」
Numbers When the wicked sin, the priest will make atonement for him before the Lord, and he will be forgiven. 」
Numbers 15: 29 "If the natives of Israel and the foreigners living among them do anything by mistake, they will be subject to the same regulations. 」
Numbers 15: 30 but whoever dares to act, whether native or alien, blasphemes the Lord, and that person will be cut off from his people. 」
Minutes. 15: 3 1 "Because he despises the command of the Lord and does not obey the command of the Lord, that person will be cut off; His sins will be borne by him. 』」
God's fourth command to the new generation is that after entering the land of Canaan, the "sin sacrifice" offered by individuals is different from that offered by the old generation.
It turns out that the sin sacrifice offered by individuals only pardoned the "native Israelites" (Leviticus. 4: 35), but in the promised land, this sin offering made "the natives of Israel and the foreigners living among them" forgiven "(v. 28), indicating that God's forgiveness grace has expanded.
The grace of forgiveness has expanded, but God's forgiveness does not encourage people to commit crimes at will. The sin offering is God's grace to the evildoers. Those who "dare to act boldly" (v. 30) and "deliberately despise the word of the Lord and disobey the command of the Lord" (v. 3 1 v.) actually don't regard God and "blaspheme the Lord" (v. 30), so they "will be isolated from the people" (v. 30) and have grace. "Because after we know the truth, if we intentionally commit a crime, there will be no atonement sacrifice; Only fear awaits judgment and the fire that destroys all enemies "(Hebrews 10: 26-27).
Numbers 15: 32 "When the Israelites were in the wilderness, they met a man who was collecting firewood on the Sabbath. 」
Numbers 15: 33 "When you meet him collecting firewood, take him to Moses, Aaron and all the congregation."
Numbers 15: 34 "put him in prison; Because there is no specific explanation for what he will do. 」
Numbers 15: 35 the Lord said to Moses, "that man must be put to death." All the congregation will stone him to death outside the camp. 』」
Numbers so all the congregation took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses. 」
Verses 32-36 are examples where intentional crime does not apply to sin offerings.
God has asked people to keep the Sabbath seven times (for example. 16: 29; 28; XXXI 13; Thirty-five 3; Leviticus 19 3; 23 3; 26 2), but this person still "despises the word of the Lord and does not obey his command" (section 3 1). If we think that as long as we know God's mind, we can turn around and follow God, then we don't know our true nature. In fact, the stubbornness of our flesh, like this man who collects firewood on the Sabbath (v. 32), is far beyond our imagination, so God will use his life to tear down our old people and build our new ones.
God has long commanded, "Six days you must work, and the seventh day is holy, so keep the Sabbath to the Lord. Anyone who works on this day will be executed. Do not make a fire in all your dwellings on the Sabbath. 35: 2-3). However, what is said here is "how to deal with him is not specified" (verse 34), perhaps because the people are not sure whether "collecting firewood on the Sabbath" (verse 32) is "working" or "lighting a fire". But God clearly commanded, "He has blasphemed the Lord and will be cut off from his people" (v. 30). Because people look at the behavior outside, and God looks at the heart inside.
Numbers 15: 37 "the Lord said to Moses.
Numbers 15: 38 you want to order the Israelites to wear them next to their clothes from generation to generation? Son, bottom again? Nail a thin blue ribbon to the child. 」
Measuring drops 15: 39 "Do you wear this? Son, when you see it, you will remember to obey all the commands of the Lord and not to commit adultery after your own heart and eyes, as you used to do. 」
Numbers 15: 40 "That you may remember and do all my commandments and be holy to your God. 」
God's fifth command to the new generation is to "walk with clothes" after entering the land of Canaan? Son, bottom again? Nail a thin blue ribbon to your child "(verse 38), and remind yourself to live a heavenly life at any time, and don't commit crimes intentionally.
「? The son stands for "all the commandments of the Lord" (v. 38) God's people "put this on the bottom of the clothes closest to the ground?" Son "(v.39), children flutter when walking, not to show their piety, but to remind themselves of their position in heaven," obey all the commands of the Lord at any time in life "(v.39), so as to truly" be holy to your God "and live in God's promise and grace.
"Blue" is the color of the sky. The "blue ribbon" mentioned here is not only a blue ribbon, but also a blue ribbon used to tie the gold medal to the crown of the high priest (for example. 28: 37; 39 3 1). Whether it is the high priest or the common people, this "blue ribbon" is to remind ourselves at any time that although we live on the earth, our status belongs to the kingdom of priests and saints in heaven (Ex. 19.6), so we should pay attention to what belongs to heaven and live the style of heaven. If God's people care about local things and cling to local life, it is not commensurate with their "blue ribbon" symbol of heaven.
"Blue" originally meant "blue purple". In ancient Egypt, blue symbolized life, resurrection and abundance, and was used to depict water, sky, heaven, the hair of various gods and the face of the supreme god Sun God. Blue was also used in Pharaoh's crown. "Blue-purple" pigment is extracted from the dye bone snail in the Mediterranean, which is expensive and difficult to obtain in the wild. Therefore, before starting to "nail the blue ribbon" (section 38), you must enter the land of Canaan.
"Don't commit adultery according to your own mind and eyes" (section 39), which literally translates as "Don't commit adultery according to your own mind and eyes". People's "brains and eyes" are the enemies of faith, and Israel's repeated disobedience is the result of "following its own brains and eyes". So, God passed? External signs such as children and blue ribbons remind a new generation of people not to "follow their own minds and eyes" and commit obscene acts again. "Follow" (section 39) and "spy" (section 13) in the original text are the same word, implying the end of following one's own mind.
The "edge" of clothes (verse 38) means "wings, ends and edges", which Jewish rabbis think is "four corners". In the New Testament era, what was on Jewish clothes? Son (Matt. 23: 5), is it also on the clothes of the Lord Jesus? Son (too ninety-twenty; 14: 36). Today, Orthodox Jews have four corners of a shirt and a prayer shawl? Zi (Tzitzit).
