Two Poems by Xue Mei is a set of seven-character quatrains written by Lu Meipo (alias Lu Yue), a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. These two poems illustrate the relationship between plum, snow and poetry, and they are indispensable. Only when they are combined can they form beautiful spring scenery.
