The whole poem is as follows:
The west wind is strong, and the geese in the sky are called frost morning moon. First frost morning, horseshoe broken, horn swallowed.
Xiongguan road is as iron as iron, and now it is still one step away from the beginning. From the beginning, Cangshan was like the sea and the sunset was like blood.
The translation is as follows:
The west wind blows fiercely, the geese sing first frost, and the abortion is in the sky. Xiao Yue is in the air, the sound of horseshoes is fragmentary and complicated, and the sound of bugles is gloomy and deep.
Don't say that the ups and downs of the mountain are as insurmountable as iron, now let's rally. Rally forward, the vast green hills are like the sea, and the sunset is as red as blood.

1Mao Zedong's leading position was established at the Zunyi meeting in June, 935. After the meeting, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Wang Jiaxiang formed a military command group. In order to continue the Long March, the Red Army went north through Loushanguan and prepared to cross the river between Luzhou and Yichang. However, when encountering obstacles, Mao Zedong resolutely decided to cross Chishui and return to Zunyi, so he crossed Loushanguan again.
In the early morning of February 25th, the Red Army advanced to Loushanguan, where it joined forces with Guizhou Army. The Guizhou army went into battle in panic and retreated to the pass. The Red Army launched a fierce attack along Panshan Road, and finally held Xiongguan in its hands in the evening, enabling large troops to pass smoothly and move towards a successful future. Because of the significance of this battle, the poet was very excited and wrote this word soon after the battle.
