[Edit this paragraph] Translation of ancient poems
I only love the weeds growing by the river, so quiet and interesting; Deep in the shade, orioles make attractive calls. Because of the spring rain in the evening, the river flows more rapidly like the tide; In the twilight wilderness ferry, no one crossed the river, only the boat floated alone by the river.

[Edit this paragraph] Poetry appreciation
This is a famous landscape poem and one of Wei's representative works. Describe the poet's spring trip to Xixi Chuzhou to enjoy the scenery, and take a wild trip in the rain at low tide. The first two sentences are spring scenery, love the quiet grass, despise the oriole, which is a metaphor for celebration and avoid flattery; The last two sentences describe the urgency of spring tide with rain and the scene of water rushing over the boat, which contains a kind of helpless sadness that is not in place and cannot be used. The whole poem reveals a calm mind and sad feelings. This is a famous landscape poem and the most famous masterpiece of Wei. Although the poem is about ordinary scenery, it has become a legal animation with deep artistic conception after being touched by the poet.
This article was written by Wei when he was the secretariat of Chuzhou in the second year of Jian Zhong (78 1). The author visited Chuzhou on the Xijiang River and wrote this poem (Xijiang River is in the western suburbs of Chuzhou).
The first two sentences of the poem, "I feel sorry for the static grass growing by the stream, and there are orioles singing in the depths of the trees", mean that the poet loves the static grass growing by the stream, and there are orioles singing in the depths of the shade. This is an elegant scenery where beautiful colors and beautiful music are intertwined. "Solitude and pity" means eccentricity, which shows the poet's quiet mind. The last two sentences, "spring tide comes late with rain, and no one crosses the river in the wild", mean that it rains in the evening and the tide rises more violently. There are no pedestrians on the ferry in the country, and a ferry is moored across the river. This picture of crossing a boat in the rain contains the poet's sadness about his inaction, which makes people think deeply. This also clearly shows that Wei would rather sit on the deserted grass than be a big official.
Wei was once a "Sanweilang" and a secretariat of Chuzhou, Jiangzhou and Suzhou. He was deeply worried about the political corruption in the mid-Tang Dynasty, and was also concerned about the sufferings of people's livelihood, but he could do nothing. This poem expresses his feelings euphemistically.
[Appreciation] This poem was written in the second year of the poet's tenure as the secretariat of Chuzhou (78 1). In the Tang Dynasty, Chuzhou was ruled by the city of Chuzhou, Anhui Province, and Xijian was in the western suburbs of Chuzhou. This poem describes the quiet scene by the water of a mountain stream.
In the first two sentences of the poem, the poet said that in the prosperous scenery of spring, he only cared about the solitary grass by the river, while the beautiful song of oriole came from the lush Woods, but the poet seemed to care nothing about it. The last two sentences are about what I saw in the wild crossing in the late rain. Late tides and spring rains make the water more urgent. The suburban ferry is more deserted at the moment. Maybe the boatman has gone home to rest, only to see the empty ferry drifting freely.
Whether this poem has a sustenance or not, and what is the implication, has been debated endlessly. Some people think that it is the thorn of "the gentleman is next, the villain is above"; Some people think that "there is no need to entrust the scenery of Xixi to this couple." In fact, the emotions revealed in the poem are looming. At the beginning, when you mentioned Youcao and Orioles side by side, the poet used the word "lonely pity", which clearly showed the poet's state of mind when he was poor and sober, and he did not flatter him very much. The last two sentences contain a kind of helplessness and sadness that is not in place and not used. Poets write scenes with emotion, express their feelings by borrowing scenes, write their favorite and disliked scenes, and talk about their comfortable and uncomfortable situations, while inner peace and emotional sadness naturally show up. Express the author's love for life.
In the first two sentences of the poem, the quietness of the environment is written by "grass" and "deep tree", while the words "life" and "singing" reveal a sense of movement in silence. The last two sentences of the poem are about the scenery in the rain in the evening, and there is silence in the movement. Crossing the Wild without a Boat shows a desolate and silent artistic conception.

Wei (737 ~ 792)

2. Hong Yingming's Caigen Tan in the Ming Dynasty
This sentence means that when people do things, they can be as ordinary as flowers and flowers, and they can be calm; See if you want to keep the position, it can be unintentional.
Now most people feel very tired and at a loss. Everyone is wondering why the society is progressing, but people's load is heavier, their spirit is more empty and their thoughts are unusually impetuous. Indeed, society is progressing and becoming more and more civilized. However, one of the shortcomings of civilized society is the increasing separation between man and nature. At the expense of nature, the result is that people fall into the quagmire of the secular world and pursue external etiquette and material desires without knowing what real beauty is. The temptation of money, the dispute of power and the ups and downs of the official sea are exhausting. Right and wrong, success and failure, gains and losses make people happy, sad, surprised, confused, worried or scared. Once what they want is difficult to achieve, once what they want is difficult to succeed, once their hopes fail, they will be lost, depressed and even depressed.
Loss is a kind of psychological imbalance, which naturally depends on the spiritual phenomenon of loss to adjust; Frustration is a psychological tendency, emotional and profound loss; Losing ambition is a psychological failure, a complete decadence and the ultimate expression of loss and frustration. To overcome this kind of loss, frustration and loss of ambition, we need to bear the burden of humiliation and have no intention of staying.
A pair of couplets, in a few words, profoundly expresses the attitude that life should have towards things, things and fame and fortune: you don't like what you get, you don't worry about what you lose, you don't disgrace it, and you don't have any intention of staying or staying. Only in this way can you feel peaceful and indifferent to nature. Looking at the front of the court means hiding in a small building to take care of spring, summer, autumn and winter, while looking up at the sky shows the broad feelings of not sharing common sense with others; The phrase "clouds roll and clouds are comfortable" has the lofty realm that a gentleman can bend and stretch. Similar to Fan Zhongyan's thought of not being happy with things and not being sad for oneself, it is also quite broad-minded and romantic for Wei and Jin figures.
It is easier said than done to say whether to stay or not. I have been an ordinary person all my life. The colorful world of mortals and the colorful world of flowers make everyone feel heartache. Fame and fortune are what you and I want. How can we not be worried, afraid, unhappy and sad? Otherwise, there won't be so many people who pursue fame and gain all their lives, and so many people will be discouraged and disheartened, as evidenced by the culture of demoting officials in ancient China. The key is how you look at it and deal with it. First of all, we should be clear about our survival value, because we have lost our reputation and honor, and we are selfless and broad-minded. If you don't have too many selfish desires, how can you be swayed by considerations of gain and loss? Secondly, if you know clearly the way you are going, you won't like it or worry. Don't care too much, don't care too much about success or failure, and don't care too much about what others think of you. As long as you have worked hard, as long as you have struggled, doing what you like and going your own way, what does the outside world say? The reason why Tao Yuanming's Wei and Jin figures are so open-minded and romantic is that they are indifferent to fame and fortune, not happy with things or sad for themselves, so they can write that free and easy poem with a quiet and peaceful mind. This is really humiliating and unintentional. And I thought it was Wu Zetian in the Tang Dynasty who brought this spirit to the extreme. After death, there is no word on the monument, leaving it to future generations to comment. Silent, very romantic. This is another kind of open-mindedness, another kind of humiliation, and there is no intention to retain or stay.
Only when we bear the burden of humiliation and have no intention to stay or stay can we be complacent, enterprising and smile at life. Comrade Zhao Puchu, a famous social activist and outstanding patriotic religious leader, wrote in his posthumous work: Be happy when you are born, and die without regret. The flowers are still blooming and the water is still flowing. I have nothing. Who will rest in peace? The moon is bright and the wind is cool. This fully embodies a philosophical and lofty spiritual realm, which is neither humiliating nor shocking, and has no intention of staying or staying.
In short, don't be surprised, look at the flowers in front of the court; I have no intention of staying or staying, looking at the clouds in the sky. Free and easy is the real hero, romantic is the real celebrity!
3. Yanshou, the word Chongxuan, is a child of Wangxing aristocratic family in Qiantang, Zhejiang. Recite Hokkekyo at home when I was a child. During the reign of King Mu of Qian Wen, I presided over the tax work and often used official money to buy animals for release. So, I was sentenced to death and dragged to the street to prepare for execution. King Mu of Qian Wen sent someone to spy on his behavior, only to see that he was safe and unchanging, so he ordered him to be released. Then Yanshou went to Siming Mountain to stop Cui Yan, a Buddhist monk, from becoming a monk. Later, he visited Deshao Buddhist School in Tiantai Mountain and invented the method of mind and nature. The first time I lived in Zhiren Rock on the roof, I decided to have a bird's nest in my clothes.
Someone asked for advice about Yongming Miaozhi, and he replied: "If you want to know Yongming, there is a lake in front of your door. The sun is shining and the wind is coming and going. " Ancestors thought that water has ten meanings, from "being good as water" to "printing Wan Chuan on the moon", which is a self-evident car, and at the same time can show the projection of everything, which can be said to be very consistent with Buddhism.
Yanshou used this metaphor to recite Buddha in the street. Although chanting Buddha has no phase, chanting Buddha has no phase, but it goes without saying. Although there is no life to live, there is no Buddha to ask for. It's like a pot of water in a secret room. Although there is no meaning of separation, water will naturally show its outstanding image.
