Custom of new year's day
In the north, pigs and sheep are slaughtered at the beginning of the New Year's Day, and they don't go out until the fifteenth day of the first month, while the south tends to be elegant. In Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, bamboo poles are tied to grass and lit on New Year's Day, which is called Qingtian silkworm. In the west, the whole family will get together for dinner and put hot pot on the table. This is called fireplace. In the Tibetan New Year, every household will put a Zhuo Suo car.
