In 1946, the first writers' congress was held in Teheran, attended by famous poets and writers such as Bahar, Nima Youshiji, Sadik Hedayat, Bo sorge Allawi, Sadik Chubak, Hegadze, etc. The congress discussed the development of modern Iranian literature from the aspects of poetry, prose and literary criticism. After the end of World War II, the Iranian people's struggle against imperialism and feudalism surged, which promoted modern Iranian literature to some extent.
