"Rumble..." There was lightning and thunder, and it seemed like it was going to rain heavily! I was walking home, and after only a few steps, light rain started to fall, and the ground that was dry and hot turned into wet and cold. I subconsciously started to run. The rain was getting heavier and the wind was blowing loudly. The leaves were rustling, and the pedestrians on the road were running. "Hua Hua Hua..." The rain kept falling from the sky, splashing small water splashes. Some concave places formed "small ditches", and it was inevitable to be hit by raindrops when running. well! My feet were wet and my hair was a little wet, so I ran to a sheltered place to rest for a while, closed my umbrella, and took out some paper from my body to wipe the wet areas on my body. After that, I quietly waited for the rain to stop. I saw that the rain was obviously lighter than before. I was planning to go home with an umbrella. However, the rain seemed to be against me. As soon as I opened the umbrella, it started to rain again. It was getting bigger and bigger, and I could only stand there and hide. Suddenly, I hoped that the rain would stop quickly and go back to when it didn't rain. Although it was very hot, at least I wasn't as miserable as I was now. But this time, it disobeyed and instead fell deeper and deeper. The water on the road had begun to rise to more than 3 centimeters. The rain was still falling as usual, the leaves were shaking even more, and there were no pedestrians on the road. Only the cars on the road were rushing in the water, splashing rows of waves, which was very spectacular.
I don’t know how long it took, the rain stopped, the dark clouds gradually dispersed, and the sun shone down for a while, but it was not as hot as before. The sun was just right and warm. Everything has cleared up after the rain, but it is not safe to return to the way it was before. The wind has decreased, and there are many small raindrops on the leaves. They bounce down with a light touch. The road is wet, and there are many people walking on the road. Then, there was less water on the road, and the car still drove, but there was no splashing. I'm worried that the weather will suddenly change. If it rains again, how long will I have to hide? I quickened my pace and walked towards home.
After I got home, I stood on the railing and recalled the scene. The change in weather has affected my mood. The weather is changeable, and so am I.
