The brutality and cruelty of capitalism
In the capitalist world, geological exploration is a special means to obtain private rights of natural resources, and it is also a predatory behavior of "primitive accumulation" of capital. Marx said: "The discovery of gold and silver fields in America, the extinction, slavery and burial of indigenous people by mines, the conquest and plunder of East India, and Africa becoming a place for commercial hunting of black people all indicate the dawn of the capitalist era. These idyllic processes are the main source of primitive accumulation.
