You may not know their names, but you must have heard their songs.

We lost the whole world.

Fortunately, we still have music

?

When it comes to folk songs, some people will think of the old wolf and the song "You at the Same Table" that awakens our youthful memories. Some people will miss Li Jian and find inner peace in his Lake Baikal. Of course, more people will think of Zhang Lei's Nan Shannan, a singer's heartbreaking voice, a voice that makes us discover and fall in love with folk songs.

In fact, there are many voices on the road of folk songs. Instead of following the mainstream folk songs to praise grand people and things, we should respect a flower and a grass with some aesthetics of the Republic of China.

And they are also like wild flowers and weeds that nobody cares about by the river. They play animism with a box of harp and bloom tenaciously, waiting for passing tourists to pick them gently.

You may not know their names, but you must have heard their songs.

On 28th, the folk singer Bi Cheng released her new album, the fourth single "Sail". Before listening, let me tell a story about Jin Meiling, a nursery rhyme poet.

It was she who lived to be 27 years old and defined "nursery rhymes".

Jin Meiling (1903- 1930) was a Japanese nursery rhyme poet who was active in the 1920s. Born in Qixian Village, Otsu County, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, she used the most natural state of children to experience and feel the world in her poems: "Don't tell anyone /OK? In the morning/corner of the courtyard, flowers/quietly shed tears. If this word gets out and reaches the ear of a bee, it will fly back/return the honey like a bad thing. " From small to large, misfortune has been accompanied by Admiralty. At the age of three, my father died young and my mother remarried according to local customs.

At the age of 23, she married a bookstore clerk and gave birth to a daughter, but her husband not only made love, but also forbade her to write poems. Jin Meiling, who was in pain, filed for divorce, thinking that he could get rid of it. However, to Jin Meiling's surprise, after the divorce, her daughter was also sentenced to be taken away from her, which made her completely desperate for life. The night before her ex-husband came to pick up her daughter, she also silently took sleeping pills. Ended his short life of 27 years.

After Jin Meiling died, her works were also lost, and no one cared. It was not until the forty-second year of Showa (1967) that the children's writer Fu Jie Yazaki began to look for it. In the process of searching, she contacted her brother You Zheng and found 5 12 nursery rhymes and her last suicide note. In the fifty-ninth year of Showa (1984), The Complete Works of Jin Meiling Nursery Rhymes edited by Yasaki was published. After time's washing and tempering, these small ballads are still shining, shocking the Japanese literary world and touching countless readers.

Bi Cheng had been reading Jin Meiling's works last summer. Those songs are simple and transparent, and they seem to be written for children, and they seem to be written for themselves who are unhappy in those years.

Bi Cheng felt her rare share, so she decided that the lyrics of her new album were all based on Jin Meiling's poems.

This song "Sail" is one of the 5 12 nursery rhymes she left behind.

"Please don't stop at that distant ship." A few lyrics became a picture in Bi Cheng's melancholy Qingyuan song, like a ship that never landed, wandering in the harbor, swaying in the dark without waiting for its lighthouse guidance until it was farther and farther away from the land.

I think this boat that can't reach the shore is about Jin Meiling himself. She wants to find a direction, but the unfortunate life is like a counter-current sea pulling her to roll in the depths.

The lyrics "The sails of the ships heading for the coast are white and shiny" express her dreams and hopes. "The sail of the ship that arrived at the port was black and damaged." It was about the cruelty of reality and the disillusionment of ideals.

Although the arrangement of the whole song is very simple, Bi Cheng completely outlined this sad melody with a few chords. Jin Meiling in the poem may not change anything, but just drift with the tide in pain.

Bi Cheng's voice without fireworks may not sting you, but it should touch your sensitive heart.

A ship between Greater sea and the sky.

A lonely and hopeless nursery rhyme poet

A folk singer who longs for beauty and innocence

Some ideals seem distant, approximate and lost.

It's all sung by Bi Cheng.

Make a cup of bitter coffee

Bitter mouth

Bi Cheng is a poetic wild rose. After listening to this song, I suddenly thought of a voice similar to her, from Xie Chunhua.

This new folk singer released his first album shuyun this year, including a song called Desert Island. Since that ship will never dock, it will certainly encounter many desert islands, and the uninhabited island probably hopes to have a ship as its companion.

"I heard that I woke up in the middle of the night and there was no way to reach your heart." This is the feeling that a girl is rejected by love. This song has no specific story, but uses anthropomorphic methods to recall and elaborate the love that cannot be expressed in the heart through an island perspective.

The organ, the sound of the waves and the crisp sound of Xie Chunhua make people feel as if they were there, as if they saw a girl sitting barefoot on the reef, listening to the loneliness of the waves alone.

"I heard your response, in the deepest part." The song repeats the great disappointment in the heart with a lot of hearing and seeing, and also shows the girl's treasure of this love from the side.

"You can't hear my decision, in barren love." This is the girl's desperate response with her last courage. However, Xie Chunhua didn't specify whether to insist or give up, whether it was comedy or tragedy. This song left us with an unfinished ending to guess and think about.

After listening to Sail and Desert Island, you will find out why you have never heard such a beautiful song. They are like a wild flower that you happen to see in the park. They were amazing before you suddenly discovered their existence.

They don't require much, their singing skills are not necessarily excellent, and their personality determines that it is difficult for them to cooperate with big record companies. But it is precisely because of these that they are unrestrained, free and unpretentious. They can express loneliness, thinking, confusion and ideals with only one guitar and unpretentious natural voice.
