It's from The Shepherd's Poem written by Huang Tingjian at the age of seven in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is hard to imagine a seven-year-old child who can have such a profound insight and observe the reality in such a subtle way.
It is said that his father happened to be chatting with friends at home. Because his father's friends thought that Huang Tingjian was a child prodigy, he was asked to compose a poem. Huang Tingjian recited this poem casually, which surprised his father's friends and made Huang Tingjian more and more famous.
gee, the gentry in the Song Dynasty is now the elite. The true scholar-bureaucrat spirit is based on the educational concept of "self-cultivation, governing the country and leveling the world". It is no wonder that "the top grade has no poverty, and the bottom grade has no gentry."
