Wake up! Stop being stubborn!
First, come and listen; Listen to the word of God:
Psalm 49: 1 (a poem of Korah's descendants, dedicated to the music director. ) Hear this, all peoples. All the inhabitants of the world,
Psalm 49:2 Divide the rich and the poor. My mouth will speak wisdom, and my heart will meditate on understanding. I want to listen to metaphors and solve riddles with the piano.
Second, don't boast about wealth; Because money is limited:
Ps 49:6 He who trusts in money and boasts of his wealth, Ps 49:7 No one can redeem his brother, nor can he give a ransom to God for him.
Third, wake up! When a person dies, money can't be taken away.
Psalm 49: 17 Because when he died, he could take nothing with him, and his glory could not go down with him.
Fourth, people don't wake up, just like dead animals:
Psalm 49:20 A man is like a dead beast without awakening in dignity.
? We saw the poem of Korah's descendants, who issued such a warning to the world and all people here. Call on people to wake up from money and material things. It's not that we don't need material, but that we don't give priority to material and God. Don't live in an environment where you are addicted to money, but fear God, who created the universe and gave people sunshine, air and rain.
Please help us so that we can rely on him. We can be satisfied with what God has given us, and don't go to draw water with nothing like the world. * * * Encouragement from the host-Tuesday, April 28th, 2020
