What do you think of the poetic drama Turandot?

The grim Princess Turandot was determined to avenge her ancestors because her grandmother was ravaged by foreign invaders a hundred years ago, so she designed to kill all the men who asked her for love by guessing fists. In the square in front of the noon gate of the Forbidden City, she announced to the suitor that whoever can guess the three riddles she gave will marry who, and if she can't guess, she will be executed. For a long time, no one could guess the princess's three riddles, but many people became ghosts in this cruel game. Calaf, the young prince of Tatar, was deeply moved by Turandot's beautiful face, so he risked his life to propose to her and conquered Turandot with his courage, wisdom and passionate love. ...

Different from the familiar plot in Puccini's opera Turandot, playwrights Kong Yuan and Wujiang adopted an older Schiller version this time. Liu Er, who played an important role in the opera, was deleted and replaced by Timur, the father of Prince Calaf. Timur is the lover of Princess Luling, Turandot's wet nurse, and Turandot is the daughter of Princess Luling and King Yanji. As for Turandot's character orientation in the opera version, the director has also changed this time. Turandot, a teenage daughter, replaced the original cruelty with tenderness, and the love scene was strengthened, which can be described as "Du Liniang in the Forbidden City". Its starting point is to call for the return of human nature and understanding of love, ideals and outlook on life.

Turandot was written by adami and Simone based on the play of the same name by Italian playwright Gozzi.

The beautiful Chinese princess Turandot announced: There are three riddles. Whoever guesses right can recruit a son-in-law, and whoever guesses wrong will be beheaded. As a result, princes from all over the world gathered, and the prince of Persia was beheaded because he didn't guess correctly. Calaf, the fugitive prince of Tatar, fell in love with Turandot's beauty at first sight and insisted on solving three puzzles. His maid, Liu Er, silently loved the prince and could not bear to leave, but she could not bear to keep him sadly. Calaf, the unknown prince in disguise, really solved three puzzles. Turandot reneged on his promise of marriage because he didn't know the identity of the unknown prince. The unknown prince said to Turandot, if you can say my name, you will be free, you can give up your oath, and I am willing to die for you. The princess caught Liu Er, the prince's maid, and forced her to tell the prince's name. However, Liu Er swore not to tell her. The princess asked Liu Er, why are you so loyal? Liu Er replied: It is love. It is the deep love in my heart. I never told the prince that that deep love made me suffer and comforted my soul. After answering, Liu Er snatched his sword and killed himself at the foot of the prince. The sad prince hugged Turandot fiercely and asked her why she was so cold. After a kiss, Turandot suddenly woke up and his cold heart was melted by sudden love. Finally, Calaf explained his identity, which made Turandot awe and willing to commit himself to him. So everyone began to sing, wishing the princess and prince happiness forever.

The charm of art lies in that it not only uses language to describe its convincing original views, but also uses music to bring ideas to the sky for free imagination. If there is anything that combines language with music, it must be opera, but most of us middle school students can't avoid talking about opera because we know little about it.

I used to feel that I had a little knowledge of music, and I didn't feel how insignificant my fur was until I enjoyed this beautiful opera Turandot with my companions in the music class that day. The fresh melody, long lyrics, wonderful plot and visual impact in the opera deeply shocked me. Turandot tells the story of a wise prince who breaks through many obstacles in the face of a difficult problem and finally gets a beautiful and proud princess. The theme is very simple, just like a fairy tale, but it is full of the profound charm of ancient China sounds, which I can't forget for a long time. For example, jasmine, which ordinary people often hear, is a little seasoning in Suzhou and Hangzhou in the south of the Yangtze River. The interpretation in Turandot is the fusion of symphony and atmosphere, and it is a jumping line with ups and downs of emotions. The three seemingly difficult questions in the story were all relieved in the prince's mouth, and all the audience and listeners could not help shouting "Oh! I see! " Such exciting three melodies are interspersed in three love letters from mystery to knowledge. I think if I put this in the home theater and sit on the sofa at home instead of in the classroom, I will definitely fly on it, and the notes are my wings.

This opera is the first one that eulogizes the amorous feelings of China, expressing the good wishes of the people of China: wisdom will eventually create happiness for itself. Although in real life, everything may not be so satisfactory, but we still continue to fight for tomorrow. Because this is life, because we remember that sentence: Although hard work may not succeed, we will never succeed without hard work. How brave Calaf is in the opera! Facing the intersection of the two poles, one side leads to happiness and the other side leads to the boundary of life. At the moment of right and wrong, his wit, intelligence and courage led him to happiness, while the proud and beautiful princess was lost in front of a mystery, although it was not like the old definition of happiness-all shall be well. But this ending is enough, and it also tells us that knowledge brings you luck!
