In the 23rd year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (735), the poet went to Luoyang to study, but he came last. In the 24th year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (736), the 24-year-old poet began an unruly wandering life. The author traveled north to Qi and Zhao (now Henan, Hebei, Shandong and other places), and this poem was written during his roaming.
In the last sentence, "once you climb to the top of the mountain, you will see that all the other mountains look short under the sky." In a few words, the poet came up with the idea of climbing Yue.
