Refers to the four tones of flat, up, go and enter.

For modern people, its sound value can't be found, and it can only be estimated by phonological spectrum.

According to Yuan He's Rhyme and Yu's formula, it is inferred that the level tone may be level tone, the rising tone is rising tone, the falling tone is falling tone and the entering tone is rising tone.

Refers to the defects in the use of four tones when writing five-character poems.

1, flat head

The first and second words of a five-character poem cannot be the same as the sixth and seventh words (the first and second words of the next sentence).

Or you'll have a crew cut. For example, Fang Shishu is clear, and the pot is tilted on the platform. Both Fang Shi and the teapot are flat, that is, flat head.

2. Upper tail

The fifth word (the last word of a sentence) and the cross (the last word of a sentence) in a five-character poem cannot be in the same tone.

Otherwise, you will make mistakes.

For example, in Yuefu: the grass by the green river and the willow in the gloomy garden. Grass and willows are all upward, and they all made mistakes in ending.

Such as an ancient poem: there are tall buildings in the northwest, which are in harmony with the floating clouds, and the pavilions are different in rhyme and homophonic.

3, bee waist

As the name implies, it is big at both ends and small in the middle.

The tone of the second word and the fourth word of a five-character poem cannot be the same; Or the second and fifth words cannot be voiced initials, and the third word is unvoiced initials.

Otherwise, there will be something wrong with your bee waist.

4, crane knee

If the beginning and end of a five-character sentence are voiced, and the middle word is voiced alone, then the two ends are thin and the middle is thick.

For example, Fu's poem "Yin Hui Guan Qingyun" is clear and turbid.

5. Dayun

Refers to a five-character rhyme, and there cannot be a word with the same rhyme.

Han Yuefu Hu Ji is fifteen years old and has a spring outing alone. Hu and Lu have the same rhyme, but they make a big rhyme.

Another example is Ruan Shi's breeze, the bright moon, and the same rhyme.

6. Xiaoyun

A five-character rhyme, there can be no homonym between two sentences.

Such as: old trees and stones, the spring tip is clear. Trees and dew, together with spring rhyme, guilty rhyme.

Another example is: the thin curtain looks at the bright moon, the breeze blows on the chest, and the Ming and Qing dynasties have the same rhyme.

7. Fat girl

Words with the same vowel sound (same tone) cannot appear in two sentences of five-character rhyme.

For example, the long beam has the same rhyme, and the sound of long characters is Zhang, the first sentence is Zhang, and the second sentence is Liang. If her husband sits still, Chen Liang will remember.

8. Zhengniu

Two sentences of a five-character poem can't be mixed with four-tone words with the same initials and finals.

For example, Liang Jianwen's poem: light clouds fall in the evening brocade, and flowing fire scatters autumn gold. The vowels of Jin and Jin initials are the same, but the tones are different, which is the problem of Zhengniu (flowing autumn rhyme).

Another example is: Stream, Ascension and Breathing. The poem says: Clear the bank of the stream in the morning and rest at five Longquan in the evening. Stream and Breathing are used together.

Another: Go home, have a holiday, get married and change a new button. The poem says: I am a Han girl, and I have come to marry Shan Yuting. The word "family marriage" is used together.

These eight taboos can be analyzed by tone, but they can be made into tone spectrum, so they are not limited to beginners.

Wang Yuyang replied to Liu Daqin, "You can't remember all the rhymes such as the waist of bees and the knees of cranes. So you can answer by looking up books. However, the poet paid little attention to the eight taboos.
