The difference between modern poetry and ancient poetry

Poetry in ancient style

Poetic style as opposed to modern poetry. Before the formation of modern poetry, all kinds of poems except Chu Ci were also called ancient poems, but they were by no means ancient. Antique has only three carriers: songs, lines and intonation. Classical poetry has no meter, antithesis and level tone, wide rhyme and unlimited length. There are four, five and five words in a sentence.

Modern poetry, also known as modern poetry or metrical poetry, is China's poetic style, which pays attention to levelness, antithesis and Ye Yun. Because it is different from ancient poetry, it is called modern poetry. Refers to the metrical poem style formed in the Tang Dynasty. There are strict restrictions on the number of sentences, the number of words, the smoothness and the rhyme of modern poetry. Modern poetry is the main poetic style after the Tang Dynasty, with Li Bai and Li Bai as the representative poets.
