Into Poetry
Once upon a time, I was still a layman when it came to poetry. I was ignorant and only knew about chanting "The moonlight is bright in front of the bed, it seems to be the frost on the ground." I only knew about famous writers such as Li Bai and Du Fu, but I didn't understand those vast works. I only remember that ancient poetry is divided into three forms: Tang poetry, Song lyrics, and Yuan music, but I don’t understand their respective artistic conception and charm.
When poetry appeared in the textbooks for senior students, and the task of accumulating ancient poems was added to the homework assignments, I finally had a little understanding of poetry, but I still only stayed on the surface, memorizing sentences of poems. I just stayed there, and I didn’t remember much of the poem’s profound thoughts and profound meaning.
I have always thought that poetry is extremely simple, but this time my naive idea was completely shattered. Our activity task is to teach classes by ourselves. I was assigned this task. It was my first time as a teacher. My heart was pounding. It was finally my turn to take the stage. To be honest, I was not fully prepared and inexperienced this time. My legs were a little shaky because of my nervousness, and my performance in class was not very good. After the teacher expressed his opinion, my face turned into a big apple. My understanding of ancient poetry was so superficial. There were so many endless meanings between the lines of a short poem of sixteen words. It seemed that A poem with a few dozen words seems to express more profound thoughts than a long article.
This practice is like opening a window. The light of poetry shines into my mind. I no longer look at it with the perfunctory eyes before, but observe it with the eyes of discovering beauty. It is no longer a rigid square character, but a lively elf: some are deep and bright; some are elegant and indifferent; some are lively and lively. They magically entered my imagination, like a starry sky. I read many poems I had never heard of before, and appreciated their magnificent words or profound thoughts. Through those words, I saw strange things again. A new world, an imaginary world, that is the kingdom of poetry, the world of poetry.
Open that mysterious door and swim in the sea of ??poetry. Endless imagination is my sail. I poured my inspiration into words, making poetry writing something that once seemed out of reach and impossible to achieve, become a reality.
Poetry is the accumulation of our human culture, and it opened up my long-laid imagination. I would like to walk with poetry forever and accompany it.
