What is a water town?

Song of Water Towns: What are many water towns? Lots of water. Thousands of canals and rivers, ponds one after another, green water everywhere. What is a water town? There are many boats. Thousands of ships, ten thousand barges, white sails like clouds, floating all over the lake and river. What is a water town? Gordo Thousands of songs, 10,000 songs, filled with one basket after another, sang a new life in our water town.
