What does it mean to turn a thousand words into poetry?

I have a lot to say, but I'm afraid I can't finish it, so I summarize it into a poem to express it. I don't know if I miss you deeply, but a thousand words have become poetry. From a seven-character quatrain, I show my feelings of missing my husband. My husband is wandering outside, so I can't say too much to him.
