Yu Guangzhong heard Dylan's "The Answer is Driving in the Wind" on the American highway, and wrote the Taiwan Province version of "On the Rivers and Lakes". 1975, the singer Yang Xian set this poem and seven other poems by Yu Guangzhong to music and launched the modern folk song movement.
