Appreciation of Yin Jian by Hong Xiuquan

fisherman

(Xie)

The fish was sold 120 yuan, and the rice was put back on board.

It is difficult to burn wet reeds on the ancient shore of weeping willows.

Fishermen sell fresh fish, buy rice and put their boats home. They pulled some reeds along the road to cook. The grass was too wet to burn, so they dried reeds on the bank where weeping willows were planted. This poem is plain and straightforward, with simple language, no metaphor, no exaggeration, no discussion, no contrast, what the eyes see, written by hand, contradicts the emotion of the quatrains author or the emotional tradition of people writing poems. However, in this simple poem, the reader saw a meticulous painting of a fisherman's life segment and felt the author's broad-minded spirit. This peculiar smell is the anti-traditional feature of Zheng Banqiao's poems, books and paintings.

Xie (A.D. 1693- 1765) was born in Xinghua, Jiangsu. I once worked as an official for seven years, begging for relief for the people, taking care of big officials, begging for illness and returning to Yangzhou to sell fish for a living. The author of Zheng Banqiao's works. He is open-minded, poor and studious, endowed with broad-mindedness and informality. I like Tibetans. I have a crazy name. He is close to people's life, understands people's sufferings and realizes that "the first person between heaven and earth is only a farmer", so he advocates that poetry should reflect social reality.

Among the Eight Eccentrics in Yangzhou, Zheng Banqiao people, poetry, calligraphy and painting are the most influential. According to legend, because Zheng Banqiao couldn't get rid of the ancient gods and shapes in calligraphy, he often tried to find out his own characteristics before going to bed, and even gestured with his fingers. Once he scratched his finger on his wife, who was very unhappy and said, "You have your body, I have my body". Very inspired, he created his own calligraphy style-Li, Kai and Xing are interrelated, unique, mellow and quaint, calling himself "six-part and half-body" (commonly known as "stereotyped writing"). Visible Zheng Banqiao unconventional, with anti-traditional romantic spirit.

In his book collection, there are many excellent works describing people's lives and exposing the darkness of feudal politics. For example, chapters such as "Escape from Famine" and "Return to Home" depict the bleak scene of farmers fleeing and going bankrupt after severe famine; Orphan trip, post-orphan trip, lynching evil, etc. , or write about the evils of feudal families, or write about the oppression of the people by feudal officials, or write about the miserable life of the poor people, which is full of practical significance and has the spirit of Yuefu folk songs. His poems are very close to the school of spiritualism, and most of them can express their feelings directly, not sticking to style, showing rebellious spirit.

Although the poem Fisherman is not directly expressed, readers can read the author's detached and broad-minded character through the description of fisherman's life.
