Poetry in ancient style
Poetic style, also known as "archaic style" and "ancient style", came into being earlier than modern poetry. Each sentence has four, five, six, seven and miscellaneous words. There are more people who use five or seven words in later generations. Do not seek confrontation, but also use even words and rhymes more freely.
Four-character poem
The name of poetic style. Every sentence in the whole article is four words or mainly four sentences. It is the earliest poetic style in China's ancient poetry. Poems before the Spring and Autumn Period, such as The Book of Songs, are mostly in four words. After the Han Dynasty, the style changed slightly. Since the Southern Dynasties, the number of authors has decreased.
An ancient poem with five words per line
Poetic style name. A poem composed of five words. It began in the Han Dynasty. After Wei and Jin Dynasties, after Sui and Tang Dynasties, it developed greatly and became one of the main forms of classical poetry, including five-character ancient poems, five-character regular poems and five-character quatrains.
Classical poetry with six words per line.
The title of this poem, with six words per sentence, is said to have started in Gu Yong in the Western Han Dynasty. It is said that Dong Fangshuo has six words, but none of his poems have survived to this day. Kong Rong's six-character poems are the earliest in the late Han Dynasty, which are different in ancient style and similar in style, but not very popular.
A poem of seven words per line
The name of the poetic style. Every sentence in the whole article is seven words or mainly seven words, which originated from the folk songs of Han Dynasty. It's always said that it started with the poem of Bai Liangtai, which is not credible. Ge Yanxing by Wei is an early existing pure seven-character poem. In the Tang Dynasty, it had a great development. There are seven-character ancient poems, seven-character regular poems and seven-character quatrains. It and five-character poems are the main forms of classical poetry.
lines
Poetic style name. A kind of classical poetry, originally from Yuefu. Sentences in poems vary in length and there is no certain standard. The shortest sentence has only one word, the long sentence has more than nine crosses, and three, four, five and seven words alternate.
Music bureau
This refers to the ancient music official position. The name of "Yuefu" began in the Western Han Dynasty, and when Huidi came, there was a "Yuefu Order". It was not until Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty that Yuefu was established, which was in charge of the music used for banquets and road parades, and also used folk poems and songs. Yuefu, as a poetic style, originally refers to the music songs collected and created by Yuefu government, and later refers to the poems and their descendants who can enjoy music in Wei, Jin and Tang Dynasties.
Gehang
The fusion of ancient poetry. After the Han and Wei Dynasties, Yuefu poems were mostly titled "Song" and "Xing". Although the names are different, there is actually no strict difference. Later, there was a fusion of "Song and Xing". Its syllables and meter are generally free, and its form adopts the ancient style of five words, seven words and miscellaneous words, which is full of changes. "Xing" means music.
Fude
Every poem with the title of "Fu De" is often preceded by the word "Fu De". In the Southern Dynasties, Emperor Liang Yuan wrote a poem "Fuduo Cao Fang". In the imperial examination era, there was the word "Fu" in front of poems, because most poems were sentences. It is also applied to the works that should be done and the topics of poets' meetings. Later, "Fu De" was put into practice as a poetic style.
Connecting poem
One of the ancient ways to write poetry. Two or more people * * * wrote a poem and connected it. It was circulated in the poem "White Balcony Terrace" when Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty (suspected as a forgery by later generations). There is no definite formula at first, there is one rhyme, two rhymes, or even more, and others follow. Later, it was customary for one person to write the last sentence, and the successors should be connected together and then write the last sentence in turn.

Old-style poetry, modern poetry, modern poetry
They all refer to metrical poems, which are mainly divided into five sentences, seven sentences, five sentences, seven sentences and arrangement. We must not confuse "modern poetry" with "new poetry" now.
A long metrical poem (usually five characters per line)

Quatrain

It is mainly composed of five words and seven words, referred to as five absolutely and seven absolutely. There are six words of Shi Jue. There is a close relationship between people in the Tang Dynasty, and there are certain requirements for the rhyme of flat and even tones.
Lvshi
Poetic style name. A modern poem, hence its name. It originated in the Southern and Northern Dynasties and matured in the early Tang Dynasty. Eight sentences, four rhymes or five rhymes are required. The second, fourth, sixth and eighth sentences rhyme, and the first sentence can be taken or not, generally in a flat tone. Divided into five words and seven languages, referred to as the five laws and seven laws. Occasionally. It's called couplets. The first couplet (one or two sentences) of the five laws and seven laws is called the first couplet, the second couplet (three or four sentences) is called the couplet, the third couplet (five or six sentences) is called the neck couplet, and the fourth couplet (seven or eight sentences) is called the tail couplet.
