There are many excellent works describing music in Tang poetry. Creation background
According to the Chronicle of Li Bai's Poems by Zhan E, this poem was written by Li Bai in Xuancheng (now Anhui) in 753, the twelfth year of Tianbao, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. Pei Fei's Compendium of Li Bai's Chronicle also started from it.
