Unit 6 of the second volume of grade four is written at the end of the bamboo forest

A composition describing bamboo forest

Behind grandpa's house, there is a bamboo forest.

As soon as I walked into the bamboo forest, ah! Suddenly stunned. Rows of green bamboos stood there like sentries. Great! Looking up, those bamboo statues are talking, and the leaves are all growing inward, layer by layer, leaving no gaps. The sun shines brightly on the bamboo forest. Sunlight shines through the cracks in bamboo leaves, like a sharp arrow, and like a huge Tianhe, full of holes and golden running water pouring down. The sunshine shakes with the bamboo leaves in the wind, like countless fluttering gold foils flashing and shaking your eyes.

After the spring rain, the fields covered with wheat bran will arch "small bags" one by one. Grandpa said to grow like bamboo shoots! I ran cheerfully and opened the "small bag" to have a look. It turned out to be true. I saw a bamboo shoot with three or four light green leaves smiling at me! With grandpa's help, I dug the small bamboo shoots out of the ground. Look, there is some yellow mud on the coat of the small bamboo shoot, which is fresh!

In the days to come, Grandpa will be as busy digging, cooking and drying bamboo shoots as his uncles and aunts in the village. Grandpa said that if you don't dig quickly, bamboo shoots will fly very fast and turn into bamboo when they are hot.

In autumn, most bamboo leaves will turn yellow. After a gust of wind, bamboo leaves will fall and cover the bamboo forest tightly.

This is grandpa's bamboo forest.
