Sponsored by Zhaotong College Committee and undertaken by Zhaotong College Weeds Literature Society. The Wild Grass Literature Society of Zhaotong University was founded in 1982, which is one of the earliest campus literature societies in Yunnan universities.
The original community publication Weeds was founded in 1983, and the current social newspaper Watch was founded in 1995, which soon became one of the "National Hundred Folk Literature Newspapers".
20 13 April, The Observer won the second prize of "Good Newspaper" in 20 12 organized by China Internal Publications Association. Since the establishment of Weeds Literature Society, there have been many famous writers and poets in China, such as Xia (winner of the third Lu Xun Literature Award), Sun and Fan Zhongwei.
Temporarily selected once every academic year. Specific matters are as follows:
