Reflections on the Teaching of Three Short Poems

"Three Short Poems" is the first lesson of Unit 3 in the second volume of Grade Four. This lesson consists of three poems by Bing Xin, which express the child's deep attachment to his mother and praise for maternal love. Teaching emphasis: reading aloud, reciting and tasting poetry language. Teaching difficulty: understanding the author's praise for maternal love.

? First, the teaching effect around the focus of this lesson, I have done the following:

(1) Introduction to the song, when I entered the poetry class, I asked my classmates to sing a song "Only a mother is good in the world". After singing, let the students recall the scene of getting along with their mother. The poem takes maternal love as the introduction, which stimulates the students' enthusiasm for learning. ?

? (2) Read aloud repeatedly, taste the language of poetry and experience emotion. In the classroom teaching, I found the characteristics of modern poetry through repeated reading, situational creation, blank imagination, supplementary materials and other different forms of teaching strategies: catchy, rhythmic, imaginative and sincere. Stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning poetry in evaluation and guidance, and feel the charm of poetry in appreciation, so as to realize the integration of learning the modern poetry characteristics of "stars" and the poetic feelings of learning the modern poetry characteristics of "stars". Let students taste the language of poetry in repeated reading, imagine the artistic conception of poetry in reading, especially the understanding of the two "storms" in Star 159, and let students understand poetry in combination with the storms and difficulties in real life and experience the emotions of poetry in the experience.

Second, the success of this course I think there are two places to succeed:

(1) Introduce songs in a novel way to attract students' attention and stimulate their interest in learning. ? (2) Read aloud repeatedly and taste poetic language. Poetry teachers used to explain poetry. This time, I asked students to read repeatedly, use their imagination, experience the artistic conception of poetry in combination with real-life events, let students understand the meaning of poetry in reading, and taste the author's praise for maternal love in reading.

? Third, shortcomings

(1) Some students with learning difficulties find it difficult to learn these three poems, and they can't understand their meanings well. ? (2) I only worked hard on reading taste, but not on writing, and I didn't train in imitation and writing skills. IV. Improvement Measures In view of the difficulty for students with learning difficulties to learn poetry, when I prepare lessons next time, let them talk about what maternal love events they usually feel and let them taste poetry in connection with life, which should help them understand the meaning of poetry. In view of the lack of training in writing skills, the next time I explain, I will not only let students taste the poetry content in reading aloud, but also guide students to learn this imaginative and associative writing technique in writing skills, so that students can boldly imagine and write a small poem to express their praise for maternal love.
