Modern poems written by Wordsworth

Wordsworth wrote the following modern poems:

1, "I am a guest among strangers".

I used to be a guest among strangers, far away overseas; England! Only then did I realize how much I love you. Finally passed, that sad dream! I will never leave you to travel far away; The longer I feel about you, the deeper I feel. In your mountain, I finally got the long-awaited peace; My lover is sitting in front of the fireplace in England, rocking the spinning wheel.

2. "She lives on an abandoned road".

She lives on a deserted road, by the pigeon stream, where no one praises the girl and no one loves her. She is like an invisible violet, half hidden by mossy rocks! Her beauty is like a cold star, shining alone in the horizon. She lives in obscurity, and almost no one knows when she will die; But now that Lucy is in the grave, the world is not what it used to be.

A brief introduction to Wordsworth:

William wordsworth (1770- 1850), an English romantic poet, was once a poet laureate. His poetic theory has shaken the rule of English classical poetics and strongly promoted the innovation of English poetry and the development of Romantic movement.

Wordsworth was born in a lawyer's family. He studied at St John's College, Cambridge University. After graduation, he traveled around Europe and experienced the storm of the French Revolution.

His father died in 1783, and he and his brothers were taken care of by his uncle, while his sister Dorothy was raised by her grandparents. Dorothy is closest to him. The most prosperous period of Wordsworth's creation was from 1797 to 1807.
