The sky is still so blue, and there are still people coming and going under the eaves. But there were less chirping sounds in my ears. well! It’s been a long time since I saw the shadow of a bird!
There is a little bird inside. It looks so helpless and a little sad. Sometimes it looks through the thick steel wire mesh, thinking of its vigorous figure in the vast sky; sometimes it lowers its head, sighs, and thinks of its caring family and playing partners; sometimes it curls up in a corner of the cage, making bursts of noise. The heart-stopping cry, missing my home in the tree. But all of this is already in the past. It has lost its freedom!
Looking at that little bird, my heart broke. Are there not enough caged birds in the world? They have no freedom and no happiness! On the surface, they like them very much, take them for walks, and force them to talk and sing, but in fact they are locked in a cage, looking at the sky through a barbed wire fence. Don’t the birds want to fly? Don't birds have freedom? Don’t birds have thoughts? Why are they kept in cages? If the person in the cage is a person, will the person feel better?
I carried the cage out of the house and placed it on the grass. With a "click" sound, the cage door opened. The bird was stunned for a few seconds, then quickly reacted and flew out.
"Chirp, chirp, chirp," the bird screamed happily, hovering over my head for a few times and then flew away! My mood instantly relaxed!
I hope that all the birds in the world can be free, and there will no longer be caged birds!
