Built in the Liao Dynasty, Kaitai was nine years old. Originally called Xianxi Temple, it was later renamed Fengguo Temple. It was during the Liao, Jin and Yuan Dynasties that this temple was the most brilliant. It was also one of the three major temples at that time. The temple has the architectural style of Tang Dynasty, but it also contains the cultural characteristics and layout of Liao and Jin Dynasties. This temple has a history of 1000 years.
Introduction of scenic spots
There are the oldest clay sculptures and colorful Buddha statues in the world. The overall layout of the particularly exquisite Fengguo Temple is basically the same as other temples, which is a typical layout of Buddhist temples in the Han Dynasty. One of the most famous is the Hall of Ursa Major, which is also the largest bear treasure in China. It is built on a platform more than three meters away, and the whole building covers an area of 1829 square meters. It is dedicated to Buddha Sakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism.
But besides him, there are six giant Buddha statues, all of which are primary color sculptures in Liao style, namely Kaya Buddha, Detained Sun Buddha, Discarded Buddha, Pipo corpse Buddha, Vishe floating Buddha, Detained Muny Buddha and Sakyamuni Buddha. These seven Buddha statues all sit cross-legged in the lotus, and they look particularly delicate. These Buddha statues are all 9 meters high, but the tallest is the corpse Buddha of Pippo.
Attraction activities
It is in this hall of great heroes that an incredible thing happened so far. At the beginning of the liberation war, Yixian was bombed by more than 20 planes. It was already in ruins at that time. When they returned, they saw the temple and dropped two missiles. This bomb is very powerful. How can such a thousand-year-old temple withstand such bombing? When everyone thought it would be in ruins, a miracle happened.
The first shell landed outside the main hall, and the other actually fell into Siddhartha Gautama's hands. Miraculously, the two shells did not explode, but were quietly embedded inside and outside the Hall of the Great Hero, which made more people believe in the blessing of the Buddha.
Ticket introduction
More and more people regard this place as the most sacred existence, and according to the expert's explanation, the possibility that these two shells will not explode is zero, but there is no explanation here. If you want to come here, you only need tickets to visit 50 yuan.
There is a saying that "the end of science is philosophy, and the end of philosophy is theology". No matter what causes the explosion, the most important thing is not to be destroyed here. Ok, Bian Xiao will talk to you here first today. Do you have anything to say about this phenomenon? Welcome to comment!
