Poetry "I am a tree"

Rich people in Hebei. Born on February 8, 1926. When I was a teenager, my family was poor. 1945, I was admitted to the Chinese Department of Peking University and began to publish poems in periodicals. 1949 spring, joined the China People's Liberation Army. Since then, he has been engaged in cultural work in the army. He has served as a reporter of Xinhua News Agency, deputy editor-in-chief of literary and art editors of the People's Liberation Army, director of the Chinese Writers Association, and minister of culture of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army in China.

Poetry in the early 1950s reflected that the war of liberation was coming to an end and showed the life of Korean soldiers on the Korean battlefield. In the middle and late 1950s, Li Ying's creative materials became more and more extensive, and patriotism remained the theme of her works. His poems describe the moving scenery from Inner Mongolia grassland, northeast forest area, Tianshan snow ridge to southeast coast, outline the new look of people's life and labor, and express the vibrant joy of the motherland everywhere. It is the main part of Li Ying's poems to praise the soldiers who defended the newborn. Li Ying digs the secrets of soldiers' hearts from the scenes of sentry duty, drills and emergency assembly in the daily life of the army, and eulogizes their loyalty to the motherland and the people and their broad mind. Li Ying also wrote a large number of lyric poems on international themes, which showed the struggle of people all over the world against imperialism and colonialism, for national independence and people's liberation. His poems in this field are included in Years Dedicated to Fire (1964) and People Stand Up (1976).

He is good at starting from a small place, starting from specific local life phenomena, trying to reveal the color and content of the times contained in it. He is sensitive and delicate to the characteristics of life phenomena, especially natural scenery. He is good at pinning broad feelings with vivid images and showing vigorous ideological strength with gentle lyricism.
