Li Bai, a romantic poet, wrote countless poems in his life, which made later generations admire him. I like Li Bai's "Flying down three thousands of feet, suspecting that the Milky Way sets for nine days", from which we can see how magnificent the famous mountains and rivers of the motherland are; I also like Li Bai's "Peach Blossom Lake is deeper than thousands of feet, not as good as Wang Lun", from which we can see the deep friendship between Li Bai and Wang Lun; I also like Li Bai's "Looking up, I found it was moonlight, and then sinking, I suddenly remembered home", from which I can taste Li Bai's deep homesickness; I also like Li Bai's "dangerous building is 100 feet high, reaching for the stars", from which I can read Li Bai's rich imagination.
Besides his works, the origin of Li Bai's name is also very interesting. According to legend, his father loves his son very much and must make Li Bai's name unusual, so Li Bai didn't have a formal name until he was seven years old. One spring, Li Bai's family were enjoying flowers in the yard. The father deliberately tested his son's ability and recited two sentences: "Spring is blooming, and spring is early." Say that finish, let them continue. Li Bai pointed to the plum tree and blurted out, "Plum blossoms are in full bloom." Father cheered again and again, and his heart moved: isn't the first word of this poem his surname, and the last "white" doesn't represent Li Hua's holiness and elegance? So he named his son Li Bai.
Li Bai's death is also very special. He is not worried about death, not sick, not angry, but drunk. Legend has it that one night, Li Bai was drunk and staggered along the mountain path, and found the shadow of the moon in the river, thinking: Strange, how did the moon fall into the river? I want to pick it up and hang it. But the moon didn't hang and I drowned. Although wine can make Li Bai write famous sentences, it also kills himself.
This is my favorite poet. He has hundreds of poems about fighting wine, an extraordinary life and an extraordinary name, which makes me deeply admire. I think Li Bai was the first poet in the Tang Dynasty!
