Show 20 mummies of ancient Egyptian pharaohs! How much do you know about Egyptian culture?

Egyptian culture originated from ancient Egyptian civilization and belongs to one of the four ancient civilizations in the world. The birth time of ancient Egyptian civilization was about 5450 BC, and the birthplace was Fayoum area in lower Egypt. About 7500 years ago, early cities appeared in this place, and bronze was used to make cultural relics, which provided conditions for the emergence of ancient Egyptian civilization. In later archaeological work, archaeologists also found evidence that Egyptian ancestors planted wheat and other crops in Fayoum area.

As one of the four ancient civilizations, ancient Egypt has a very long history. In this long historical process, the development of ancient Egypt can be divided into ten periods. The first period is the pre-dynasty period. Ancient Egypt in the pre-dynasty period was divided into upper Egypt and lower Egypt, both of which were composed of four different periods. Among them, the formation time of ancient Egyptian civilization belongs to the first stage of lower Egypt, that is, Fayoum A period. The pre-dynastic period lasted until 3 1 century BC, when upper Egypt and lower Egypt were unified by menes, and then ancient Egypt entered the early dynastic period.

Early dynasties in Egypt can be divided into the first dynasty and the second dynasty, and menes, as the founding king of the first dynasty, left a very profound legacy in Egyptian history. Menes established the first dynasty, which officially opened the era of Pharaoh's rule in Egypt. After the early dynasties, Egypt entered the ancient kingdom period, including the third to sixth dynasties of Egypt. In ancient Egyptian civilization, most pharaohs were mummified after their death and then buried in the pyramids. The pyramids used to bury the Pharaoh were mainly built in the ancient kingdom period, and the most spectacular pyramid of khufu was built in the fourth dynasty during this period.

After the ancient kingdom period, ancient Egyptian civilization experienced the first intermediate period (the seventh to eleventh dynasties), the middle kingdom period (the twelfth to fourteenth dynasties), the second intermediate period (the fifteenth to seventeenth dynasties), the new kingdom period (the eighteenth to twentieth dynasties), the third intermediate period (the twenty-first to twenty-fourth dynasties), the late kingdom period (the twenty-fifth to thirty-first dynasties) and the Ptolemaic dynasty period (the Ptolemaic dynasty). During this period, the ancient Egyptian civilization developed very richly, forming a very unique style in the fields of poetry, painting and sculpture.

The ancient Egyptian civilization with a long history did not last forever because the Arab Empire that invaded Egypt in 64 1 AD islamized the country. However, the mystery of ancient Egyptian civilization can still be felt in Egypt's national museums and pyramids. On the 8th of this month/KLOC-0, the Egyptian Civilization Museum also exhibited 20 mummies of ancient Egyptian pharaohs and queens.
