The moonlight is like water, the chrysanthemums are broken by the fence, the leaves are falling, the rainbow is flying, the autumn night is quiet, and the cold is biting, just watching the poet concentrate on thinking. The atmosphere of this poem is cold and quiet, the colors are bright and beautiful, the charm is fresh and meaningful, popular and simple, and approachable. Late autumn night is a masterpiece that appeals to both refined and popular tastes. As Ye Xie, a poetry critic in the Qing Dynasty, commented in the original poem: "Vulgarity and elegance are among them." This poem goes like this.
2. Original text:
Late Autumn Night Tang Bai Juyi
The blue sky dissolves the quiet moonlight, and melancholy people hang lonely shadows on the moon.
Flowers bloom, chrysanthemums bloom, hedges are sparse, leaves rot, and tung trees fall into cold wells.
Sai Hong Fei is anxious to feel that autumn has passed, while the neighboring chickens crow late and always know the night.
The silence is empty, and the wind reveals the cold clothes.
3. Translation:
A bright moon hangs high in the blue sky. In the faint moonlight, the shadow of a person under the moon is more lonely, as if hanging up.
Flowers bloom, and the withered chrysanthemums fall into the cold well under the sparse fence leaves, facing the withered phoenix tree.
Hong Fei, beyond the Great Wall, in order to avoid the attack of cold current, flew across the sky rapidly, from north to south, feeling that late autumn has passed; Because the days are short and the nights are long, the neighbors' crowing is delayed.
I don't talk when I am accumulating emotions, and I think about it. The wind exposes my skirt and I feel a chill.
