Many poets in the late Southern Dynasties, such as Wu Yun, Wang Yun and Chang Fei, all studied and inherited Bao Zhao's poetic style. This influence continued to the poetry in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and even the poetic styles of poets Li Bai and Cen Can in the Tang Dynasty were born out of Bao Zhao's poetic style.
