Dear leaders:
Hello!
My name is * *, and I am a student of * * * * * * *, from * * * * * *. In September, 2008, I came to * * * University with my dream. The moment I entered the university, I suddenly felt the burden on my shoulders increased. I can't be as headstrong as before, I have grown up! I came to Shanxi Normal University to continue my study, not only for my personal future, but also for my parents' expectations of myself and my responsibilities to my family!
I remember that day, the campus was crowded with people, and there were students and accompanying parents everywhere. Seeing such a spectacular scene for the first time, I was shocked! At the same time, I also vaguely felt the existence of pressure. Of course, the joy of being admitted to the school soon diluted my worries. As long as you work hard, there will be no regrets.
After the complicated registration process, I gradually calmed down and began to plan my college life. For every freshman, this moment is exciting and hopeful. I told myself silently in my heart: I must study hard and get excellent results to repay my parents.
My parents are both out-and-out cultivators with little education. Grandma was deeply influenced by traditional ideas and insisted that her mother have a son. In this way, my family became a family of six. A family that is not rich in the first place has to support four children to live and study. For parents facing the land and the sky, the burden on their shoulders can be imagined. At that time, relatives advised parents to give one of their children to others to reduce the burden. But my parents didn't give any of us away, and life was very difficult. In this way, our family began a hard life. But we are very happy, although sometimes watching other people's children eat ice cream drools. I come from the countryside and have felt the characteristics of rural culture since I was a child. In this remote mountain village, Chen accounts for the vast majority, like our Jia, who is an outsider in their eyes. Although he has lived for several generations, he still can't get rid of the shadow of Chen's contempt for opening accounts abroad, and his poor family is even more discriminated against. When I was very young, I knew a word called "sadness". From then on, I told myself that only studying hard is the only way out. My efforts finally paid off, and I was even happier when I saw my parents' gratified smiles. They are my motivation to study.
When my father was young, his family was poor and he was a soldier for eight years. In a battle against the snowstorm, my father lost consciousness and fainted in the snow and ice. After the rescue of medical staff, my father finally woke up, but he left behind diseases such as arthritis. With the growth of age, his health is getting worse and worse, and his mother is sick, and he often goes to hospitals and clinics. Grandma's death brought great pain to this family. However, it never rains alone. Shortly after grandma died, the fourth uncle became seriously ill and could not take care of himself. Because the family is poor, the fourth uncle can't get married, but he is alone. Parents take care of fourth uncle. After two years of treatment and a large amount of medical expenses, we still failed to save the fourth uncle's life. The disaster made the family more difficult. Years of poor life have made me stronger, and I believe I can have a full college life.
At the beginning of school, I actively responded to various activities organized by the school. I took an active part in various community activities and joined the "Calligraphy Lovers Association", where I got a preliminary understanding of calligraphy and learned the course of "Three Character Classics". During the activity, I also met many students from other departments and established a deep friendship with them. Under the call of the Students' Union of the College of Arts, I actively signed up for the selection of the Students' Union. In view of my calligraphy skills, I was lucky enough to be admitted to the Propaganda Department of the Student Union of the College of Literature, and I started my work in the Student Union from then on. I dare not slack off in the recruitment activities of the school student union, actively participate in the interviews of various departments, and am honored to be admitted by the publicity and research department of the school student union. In my spare time, I also participated in the poetry recitation competition organized by the College of Liberal Arts and the teacher quality competition. There, I learned a lot of things beyond book knowledge, which benefited me a lot.
While taking part in various activities, I have never relaxed my attention to learning for a moment. In class, I always maintain a correct and modest learning attitude, actively cooperate with teachers' teaching work, and strive to improve my professional knowledge level; Ask your classmates modestly after class, preview the new content carefully, review what you learned that day, think repeatedly, chew and digest, and finish the homework assigned by the teacher on time and with high quality. Many things happen. Through unremitting efforts, I achieved good academic results in the first semester of my freshman year. At the same time, I also strive to expand my knowledge in all aspects, insist on self-study for a long time after class, and often consult materials in the library or through the internet to enrich myself after class, so as to make up for the lack of classroom knowledge in time, broaden my horizons and enrich my knowledge. When I was a freshman, I still didn't dare to relax myself. I continued to maintain my learning momentum in the first semester. Besides studying textbook knowledge, I also read a lot of literary classics, such as Yuan by Lin, River in the North, Home, Taipei People, Red and Black, novels by Lu Xun, essays by Xiao Hong and novels by Bing Xin. Through a semester's hard work, I got the following results in the final exam.
Besides working and studying, I also actively demand ideological progress and establish a good outlook on life and morality. Last semester of my freshman year, I took the initiative to submit an application for joining the Party to the Party organization. With the help and guidance of the Party organization and my active efforts, I have always kept pace with the times, earnestly studied the Party's work line, correctly implemented the Party's principles and policies, actively participated in relevant activities, and became an activist in joining the Party under the strict examination of the Party organization. In the days to come, I will still stick to my outlook on life, values and morality, actively participate in various activities of the Party organization, and strive to become a prepared party member and party member.
Because of my poor family background, in my life, I don't compare with my classmates with rich families, and I don't want to wear brands. As long as I am comfortable, the right price is particularly important. In terms of diet, refrain from buying snacks, eat well every meal, and never spend a penny more. In college, people's communicative ability is very important, especially getting along well with classmates in the same dormitory. Usually actively communicate with classmates and get along well. I won't quarrel with my classmates because of a sentence or a trivial matter. At the same time, I try my best to help them and let them feel infinite warmth after leaving home. I believe that studying and living in college will be an extremely important experience in my life. During the period, I only compared with my classmates what I learned in college and how much I learned. I have made great progress in all aspects and my overall quality has been greatly improved. At the same time, I also use my spare time to work and study, find a job, exercise myself and supplement my family.
Through a year of hard work and active activities, I have achieved good results in intellectual education and moral education. In the comprehensive evaluation, my intellectual education performance ranks third in grade and fifth in comprehensive evaluation. Although my family is poor, I never give up my efforts, and I always believe that paying will be rewarded. In order to successfully complete my future studies and better repay my parents and the society in the future, I solemnly submit my application for the National Inspirational Scholarship to the school, and ask the leaders to review it. I am very grateful to the party, the state and the school for their strong support to contemporary college students. In the future, I will study harder, motivate myself with stricter standards and requirements, spur myself, repay my parents with better grades, and repay the help of the party, the country and society!
I am here to convey
welcome
