Modern Poetry: Gazing at Bananas

Gaze at bananas

Sometimes it's not poetic.

It's just yellow digest.

Sometimes it's the pain of peeling.

Like peeling my flesh.

Sometimes it is an organ of the human body.

Be found guilty

Sometimes I can stare at it.

Rot, crush, combine

Become a new banana

Sometimes I stare at it,

It's staring at me, too

Staring at a banana

You won't eat it.

However, it will eventually be eaten.
