After being selected into two major art document volumes, "Monument to a Strong Country" by the Central Literature Publishing House and "The Backbone of China" by the New China News Publishing House in 2005, Chen Zuiyun won three prizes in a row last year and was selected into the China Pictorial Publishing House. "Art China" and "A Generation of Famous Masters" and the "World Communication List of Masterpieces of Chinese Culture and Art Masters" by Hong Kong China News Publishing House (this huge volume was designated as the "World Chinese Media Forum" and was presented to the presidents and station directors of Chinese media around the world. and documents collected by the chief editor) three huge volumes of art documents. Chen Zuiyun's original "Zuiyun Three Creations" calligraphy works were placed in a prominent position and occupied a large space, and he was crowned with the title of "Master of Modern Calligraphy Art", becoming the first Chinese calligraphy artist in America to receive this honor.

Chen Zuiyun’s original name is Chen Yingru, and he calls himself Zuiyun Louzhu. He is a native of Donghuaili, Fengjiang Village, Duhu Town, Taishan City, Guangdong Province. When I was a child, I was deeply influenced by the calligraphy of my grandfather Chen Shaodian and devoted myself to the art of calligraphy and poetry.

In 1962, he immigrated to the United States and settled in San Francisco. He still adheres to the belief that "the value of art is eternal" and practices hard. On the basis of inheriting tradition, he breaks through the barriers of conformity, boldly innovates, and successfully collects hundreds of works. The head of the family melted Xing, Cao and Kaishi into one furnace and created his own "Zuiyun style"; he also created the "One-stroke Bang", which consists of several large characters in one go and runs vertically and horizontally; and then got inspiration from seal script and hieroglyphics. With extraordinary imagination, he wrote "calligraphy paintings" such as dragons, tigers and phoenixes that imbue thoughts, emotions and vitality, known as the "Three Creations of Drunken Clouds", which opened up a new realm of Chinese calligraphy art and was hailed as "contemporary" "Jinshan Qibi".

Chen Zuiyun's classic work "Dragon spitting beads" was auctioned at Burdford, one of the third largest auction houses in the United States, on June 27, 2000. It sold for US$10,000, four times the reserve price, setting the world record. It has set a historical record for the auction of masterpieces of calligraphy, and has been hailed by the industry and the media as "one word worth ten thousand dollars, a unique masterpiece".

Chen Zuiyun is not only a strong pioneer of modern calligraphy art, but also a strong and brave modern poet. His poems are informal in form, clear in love and hate, and use words concisely and implicitly. He is the author of "The Collection of Cold Stars", "The Movement of Love" and "The Collection of Drunken Clouds".
